Jonathan's POV
"JONATHAN!" I heard my dad yell for me. I rolled off my bed and walked downstairs, rubbing my eyes.
I yawned a little and walked to where I heard his voice. "Can you believe that asshole?!?" He yelled in my face.
I just took it. If I ever tried to show him my point, he'll get even more upset. So, I let him yell at me for stuff I didn't do.
I'm basically his punching bag. Well I mean, I still did have that black eye he gave me.
"How could he possibly tell me I run everything wrong!?" I looked at my feet. "I don't know sir."
He continued yelling. He took a few deep breaths and sighed. He walked over to me. My shoulders tensed up, ready to be hit.
I was still looking at the floor. I felt him kiss my head. He rubbed my back. "I'm not that bad of a person Jonathan. I love you son." Then he walked away.
I then remembered I promised Evan that I would meet him again. I jumped excitedly.
"You seem excited." My most trustworthy butler, Nathan, said. He was my age so we got along.
"Yup!" I said and ran to my room. I heard him chuckle. I closed my door and put on my blue sweatshirt.
I opened my window again. I sat on the ledge for a minute. It was absolutely gorgeous outside. I smiled to myself.
I stood out on the edge. I spread my arms out and let myself fall. Before I hit the ground, I caught myself.
I ran all the way to Evan. I didn't see him there. I shrugged it off and sat down.
I laid on the floor with my hands behind my head. I looked up at the sky. The flowers I was laying in smelt like perfume.
I sighed with happiness. I crossed my ankles. I saw a shadow then, all of a sudden, Evan was hovering over me.
I giggled. "What is this thing blocking the sun?" I say. He playfully pouts. "Awww it's an Evbear!" He chuckled.
I giggled more. He got off me. I sat up. "I'm surprised you met me here." He said.
"Why?" I asked. "Because of my villagers." I rolled my eyes playfully. "Like they could keep me away from you."
His face turn a light shade of pink. I smiled innocently. "You know, you're the best part of my day." I said.
He brought me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me protectively.
"Why is that Jonny boy?" He asked. "Because all my dad does is yell at me for stuff I had nothing to do with." He squeezes me tight.
"I'll always stay Jonathan." I laid my hand on his chest. I felt his breathing patterns.
'Up, down, up, down.' We stayed there in silence. It wasn't awkward silence. It was calming.
"Evan!" We heard someone shout. I looked over and saw a tall guy wearing a white sweatshirt.
"Oh um, hi Tyler." Evan said. Behind Tyler was a guy with a green shirt. Beside that guy was a guy with brown hair with a leather jacket on.
The last guy looked meanly at me. He was wearing a light blue sweatshirt with a white hood.
"It's okay." Evan whispered to me. They were on the other side of the river, so I assumed they were werewolves.
"Hey guys." Evan said, still not letting me go. "Why are you over there?! We're gunna get our asses beat if your father finds out!" The one wearing black said with an Irish accent.
Evan rolled his eyes. "I know my father sent you guys out here." He said. I just sat in his lap, confused as all hell.
The one in the green rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, but Evan, we're your friends and we care." He said, also with an Irish accent.
"Then you won't worry. I'm perfectly fine here." Evan snarled. "Evan! Wake up! You're not in some dream world where vampires can love werewolves!" The one in the blue jacket said.
Evan stayed silent. "I think I should go now Evan." Evan looked me dead in the eyes. "Don't listen to them." He said and cuddled me closer to his chest.
I smiled and giggled. I felt so damn safe in his arms. It was indescribable. The feeling just was so amazing.
"Go away you vampire. We don't need a bitch to be distracting Evan. He is a future king." Tyler spat.
I let my head fall. "Bye Evan." I teleported back to my castle. I laid on my bed. Maybe Tyler was right. He doesn't need a distraction.
