It was bright and warm day. The sun was up as the voyagers celebrated Prince Eric’s birthday. There was music everywhere, dancing and drinking. The celebration doesn’t seem to end as they unveil their gift to the prince; a statue to honor him.

Ariel was watching it from the distance. She was so fascinated by the music and the dancing. Ariel drew closer to the ship. She noticed a furry creature who kept on barking and running. She then noticed Prince Eric who later petted the furry creature.  She gazed on his charm and beauty; she could not help but fall in love.
All of a sudden a dark cloud began to form; sign of King Tritan’s anger. A storm started and tested their sail. Lightning struck the ship and the fire started. Men began saving themselves in a rescue boat with the help of Prince Eric. But his dog, Max, was still on the ship. The dog was scared and kept barking. Prince Eric, who loves his dog dearly, braved the ocean and the fire as he swam the ocean back to the ship. He carried his dog and heaved Max into the ocean. Max swam near the rescue boat and one of Prince Eric’s men helped him to get into the boat.

Unfortunately, when Prince Eric heaved Max into the ocean, the part of the floor that he stepped onto broke and his foot was stuck in it. He struggled to free his foot but the gallons of gun powder caught fire and the ship exploded. None of the men could help Prince Eric as he became unconscious and drown in the ocean.
Ariel, who witnessed all of it, came to Prince Eric and saved him. She brought him to the shore. It was her first time looking at a human that close. She could not help herself but adore him even more. She could not fathom her feelings for him that she began singing.

Prince Eric woke up with a beautiful voice and his vision got clearer. He saw a beautiful face that matched the voice that he heard. It was the face of the beautiful lady who saved him.

A voice called from the distance and Ariel could not afford to be seen by another human, so she got back in the ocean. Flounder, her fish friend, swam to her in a hurry.

“Ariel, where have you been? Everyone in the kingdom is looking for you.” Flounder said.

“Flounder, he is so beautiful- wait, what? Why is everyone in the kingdom looking for me?” she asked.

“You seem to forget about something.” Flounder replied.

It was then that Ariel realized something. It was her musical debut that everyone was excited about. She swam as fast as she could to their kingdom. She could just imagine the angry face of her father.
