dahlia's pov the rest of the week went by fairly quickly before i realized it was saturday, like any other day. i yawned and put on my glasses, walking down the stairs. immediately, i was ambushed by a huge banner hanging and balloons everywhere. "happy birthday dahlia!" they yelled, holding up a cake. i blushed and covered my face. "guys, you didn't have to. this is so sweet." i laughed. "we wanted to, don't worry about it d." zion said, smiling. "blow out the candles!" brandon yelled. i blew them out quickly as everyone cheered and we all sat at the table. i was eating the cake when i realized austin was nowhere to be found. "um guys, where's austin?" i asked. everyone looked around and said nothing. "guys? seriously?" i asked. they stayed silent and kept eating. i scoffed and tried to forget about it. "oh that reminds me, dahlia, you need to go get ready soon. wear whatever you want, then come back down here and sit on the couch and wait, we have quite the day planned for you." grace said, smiling. i nodded and smiled, still wondering deep down where austin was. when i finished, i ran up to my room and quickly showered before changing into my outfit.
