I sat straight up on my bed as I looked at my alarm clock that read.....8:50? How did I sleep so long? I stopped thinking and jumped out of my bed yelling profanities as I looked through my messy dressers.

My eyes darted to a pair of black adidas joggers that were baggy from the beginning of the thigh until the knee and from the knee down they were skinny. Without caring, I slipped off my silky shorts and threw the joggers on before running to my closet and whipping open the door. Skimming the closer quickly with my eyes, I spotted a large adidas sweater that went well with my joggers so I slipped it on over my Nike sports bra and ran to my mirror. I made a disgusted look at myself when I saw a pimple on the top of my nose.

"WHAT THE FUCK" I screamed still not bothering to put on any makeup.

For my hair I just yanked it out of the bun it was in and grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs. I looked at the time on the oven and saw it was now 9:00am. I shook my head and pulled my adidas slides over my bare feet and ran out the door into my car.

I drove for about 15 minutes until I ended up in the schools parking lot. I grabbed my backpack from the passengers seat and opened my door and ran to the entrance of the building.

"Hey pretty girl where you going?" I heard from a corner of the school building. I whipped my head to around to see Josh, another person from Ethans "group" walking towards me with while a smirk played on face.
"What do you want asshole?" I asked harshly trying to get this conversation over with so I wasn't any more late then I was.
"Why you late?" Josh said grabbed my wrists and practically pulling me to the back of the school.
"Let me go." I said with desperation in my voice.
"No can do." Josh said pulling me past all his friends and to the back of the school.

Josh looked from side to side making sure no one was looking and then he stared at me.
"What are you gonna do?" I asked with a slight hint of annoyance in my voice.

Josh shook his head from side to side and clicked his youngest and he began running his hair hand up and down my arm. I began getting uncomfortable as I tried to pull my arm from Josh but he grasp was too strong. He started leaning his head in towards me neck. I felt his awfully rough lips touch me ear as he whispered harsh things into my ear.

"HEY LEAVE HER ALONE!" We heard someone say.
Josh quickly let go of me as we saw Ethan running towards us.
"Oh u-um hey Ethan." Josh said stuttering
"What the fuck do you think you were doing?" Ethan asked flaring his nostrils and clenching his jaw.

When Josh didn't answer, Ethan turned his head towards me and asked "Are you alright?". I glared at him before saying "Quit acting like you care dickhead. Your just trying to get In my pants like you do go every other innocent girl."

Ethan walked towards me and told josh to leave. I backed up and hit the wall of the schools building. Ethan and I made eye contact for a couple seconds before Ethan opened his mouth to say something. Before he could say a syllable, I kicked him in his parts and ran off towards the entrance when my bag was.

Once I finally reached my bag, I looked over my shoulder to see Ethan running fast behind me. I turned my body back to the door as I ran like my life depended on it. I finally got to the door and ripped it open before running to what was now fourth Period, also Mr. Hawkins history class.

As soon as I opened the door, all the students heads towards me and I found Sahar's face quickly.

"Would you care to explain why you are late?" Hawkins said quirking up a brow.
"N-no thank you." I sat quietly before sitting down in my assigned seat next to Sahar.

"Are you ok Kelsey?" Sahar asked worriedly.
"I'm fine." I said gritting my teeth together at the memory of Ethan acting like he cared.

I looked down at my tiny arms and rolled up my sleeves. I saw giant red hand marks covering my left wrist. I went to go pull down my sleeve when I saw tiny baby hands grab my arm roughly.
"This is not fine kels what the hell happened?!" Sahar asked with a squeaky voice.
"Arghhhh. Josh pulled me by my wrists to the back of the school and when his head was almost buried in my neck Ethan yelled at him and Josh left. Ethan went to ask me if I was alright and I ran blah blah blah then I came to class." I said looking down.
"I'm gonna kick his ass when I see I'm next period for lunch." Sahar said.
"Yeah sure..." I replied back quietly.

"OK CLASS IS DISMISSED!" My head shot up. Were we really talking for that long? I asked myself

Cafeteria/ Lunch room
As soon as we walked into the lunch room, Sahar walked confidently over the Ethans table and grabbed Josh by the tip of his year making him yelp in pain. She dragged him out of the lunch room as I followed desperately behind her.

Once I rounded the corner, I saw Josh on the ground already with a bloody nose and scratch marks across his face.
"Sahar stop. It's alright." I said walking closer to Josh and checking to see if he was still breathing. Even if he only got one punch, Sahar is strong enough to knock him out if she wanted to.

I started to whimper in pain as I started to feel more bruising on my wrists. I lifted them up to see black and blue all up my arms started from my wrist.
"Ok were going outside." Sahar said calmly wrapping her arm around my shoulders.
"WAIT!" Someone called out.

I looked back to see Ethan running towards me with a desperate look on his face. Out of breathe, he stopped right in front of me asking if I could talk for a couple moments. I shook my head no and continued to follow Sahar out of the school.
"Please" Ethan pleaded.
I looked at him before sighing and following him towards the Janitors closet. Looking back, Sahar was following us before I before I have her a look that I'll be back.

As soon as he locked the door to he janitors closet, he started saying
"I'm so sorry how Josh treated you Kelsey and if I was there sooner, I would've beat him up. And I know you think I'm just trying to get in your pants but I'm really not. It may come off that way but I've been trying to help you because I want to try and at least be friends." Ethan said with a desperate look on his face.
"I would but how do I know that you won't to get me to do drugs and stuff like that? Or how do I know this isn't some stupid dare? Exactly I don't know which is why I'm going to say no." I said going to unlock the door.
"Please" Ethan said grabbing my wrist at which I hissed in pain.
"Sorry.." Ethan murmured.
I was now being held into Ethans chest that smelt like cinnamon and vanilla by Ethan.

I huffed as I looked up at him. "Fine. BUT only friends." I said.
"THSNKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!" Ethan said excitedly. I told him to calm down and he started acting like a  "bad boy" again.
"So I'm throwing a party tonight. I was wondering if you would like to join me? And you can bring that girl Sara or Sahara or whatever her name is." Ethan said wiggling his eye brows cause me to laugh softly.
"It's Sahar and sure." I said shaking my head and walking outside of the closet.

"What-" I cute Sahar off
"We're going to a party tonight. And me and Ethan agreed to be friends. I'm just giving it a shot so don't judge me please." I said smiling sadly.
"E-Ethan? Fine I guess. But just don't get hurt." Sahar said shaking her head looking up at me.
"I won't." I smiles cheekily and walked off to my next period seeing how the whole commotion took up lunch hour.
