I woke up to banging at the front door. Groggily, I sat up checking my phone for the time. I had slept three hours. I stood up with my feet feeling like jello as I made my way over to the door where the banging was non-stop.

I swung open the door to see Ethan. I rolled my eyes before slamming the door shut, but his foot slipped between the small gap before it could shut all the way.
"Just- Just let me explain please." Ethan pleaded.
"You have ten minutes Dolan." I said just letting him knowing that he would win either way.

I shut the door after him and made my way to the couch where he was already seated, waiting for me. I sat down arms length across from his and looked at him, nodding my head to signal that he can start talking.
"Listen. I'm sorry I came off like I didn't want my reputation be ruined. It's just that-I guess I don't want you near my friends. Cause they're bad people, which I am too, but I don't want you to start hanging out with one of them because they'll drag you into dangerous stuff. I am just scared for you. I want to show you off as my friend to everyone, but I don't want anything to happen to you especially with some of the guys and girls in our school." He said out of breathe.
"So let me get this straight. You're ignoring me because you don't want me to get hurt by others." I said raising my brows.
"Yeah." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"Well it's not just others that can hurt me, it's you too." I said and his head shot up.
"You expect me to be okay with you ignoring me after spending time with you. In that time, I actually enjoyed your company Ethan and I would be ok with telling people your my friend. But you, you hurt me more than others. You leave me to think that I did something wrong AND LETS NOT FORGET THAT YOU GAVE ME A BLACK EYE. WHY WOULD YOU FIGHT HIM? TELL ME ETHAN." I screamed at him pointing to my yellow green eye that look disgusting.
"BECAUSE-BECAUSE YOU'RE MINE KELSEY. I DON'T ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE YOU EXCEPT ME. And I feel terrible for giving you a black eye but it was a dumb accident so please." He said with tears welling in his eyes.
"I'm not yours Ethan." I said looking down.
"I've always had an eye on you though. You were the only girl who didn't try to get in my pants or the only one who wasn't scared of me. You took a chance to get to know me."

I was shocked. I never expected this to come from the well-known cold-hearted Ethan Dolan. I guess Ethan noticed my silence as he looked at me with pleading eyes. He looked more scared now that I just shook my head not believing what he had said.

"K-Kels?" Ethan said looking straight in to my eyes.
"Ethan stop lying to me. There is no way YOU could ever like someone, let alone me. All you do is fuck people and then leave them. I'm not one of those girls whose always willing to be down for a quick fuck. Please stop lying and trying to get in my pants. That's why you've been hanging out with me and talking to me huh? You just want to get in my pants then leave me." I said with tears coming out of the sides of my eyes.
"Kelsey. I would NEVER do that to you." Ethan said shaking his head and trying to grab my hands.
"Just. Just get out Ethan. Stop messing with my life." I said getting up, and grabbing his hands and pulling him towards the front door, which was already unlocked.

I shoved him out the door, not letting have time to stop me.
"Kelsey please-" Was all he said before I shut the door right in his face.

I collapsed to my knees, with my head in between my legs. i felt the salty tears roll down my face faster than the flash. What no one knows is that I was cheated on by my ex, Jake. Jake was any girls dream man. He had fluffy brown hair with grey eyes. He was perfectly tanned and had the muscles of a god. He had this girl bestfriend named Ally. She was the perfect girl for any guy. She had the longest ombre hair with hazel eyes and her body was fairly skinny. She was tanned naturally and had big full lips. I had run out for errands one day and told him I would be back in an hour. I came back that day to him and Ally making out on the couch about to take their clothes off. I yelled at him which caused an argument between the three of us. Two against one. He told me he had never loved me and he had been wanting to break up for the past couple weeks. I had broken a couple vases and broke up with him. I slammed the door and ever since that day, I've had trust issues. It may seem like not that big of a deal but it definitely ruined my trust for anyone I met from there and so on.

Just trust issues.......
