Last chapter was just a filler

Kelsey
I walked through the schools double doors after a week. I still smelt the bleach smell on the halls and the stench of old books. I began being suffocated by the ronchy smell of the same perfume every girl wore. Some girls looked at me in glee, some girls looked at me in jealousy for whatever reason.

I decided to switch up my usual morning schedule and walked over to the freshman's hallway that was a corner away from my hall, the sophomore hall. Immediately, I spotted my friend Veronica. I saw her talking with her twin brother Kyle with a frustrated look on her face. I waved subtlety as I grinned walking over to her locker.
"Kyle go hang out with your hoes." Veronica said then shooed Kyle away.
"YOU KNOW I HAVE NO HOES!" Kyle shouted earning weird stares from people and making me snort.
"Hey V! How you enjoying Freshman year so far?" I said giddily.
"It's ok. There's this guy that always hits on me though. He has a bunch of tattoos and he has a twin brother I think. He's in your grade, actually. He always winks at me and whistles and it's so annoying." Veronica said rolling her eyes and smacking her gum loudly making people glare at her and turn away.
"Do you know his name?" I said eagerly.
"Ethan, I think. Anyways, he asked me to come over tonight because he wanted to talk to me about something." V said laughing.
"Oh, well if he tries to make you do something, tell him to choke on a pancake and step on a lego and run away!" I exclaimed, hiding the fact that I was confused.
"I will honey bunch! I've actually gotta go to my first period early cause I skipped the class and the stupid bitch is making me make up the work." Veronica said giggling softly.
"Language child! Ok I'll see you later!" I said making my way back to the sophomore hall about to turn the corner.
"OK BYE MOM!" I heard as I softly smiled and made my way down the obnoxious hall filled with many girls who thought they were better then everyone.

I walked to my locker, still confused on to why Ethan would ask Veronica to hangout later. I shook my head and bumped into a broad chest making me fall on my butt.
"Oh em gee! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you! I'm new here and I was just trying to figure my way around but I guess I looked at my papers too long!" I looked up to see a guy. His voice was rather high pitched but soft at the same time and he kept adjusting his white flower crown.
"It's fine! I love your flower crown by the way! It's so pretty and unique. I'm Kelsey Calemine!" I said putting my hang out and smiling.
"I'm Enzo Perkins" Enzo said smiling happily and instead of shaking my hand, he grabbed my tightly and hugged me taking me by surprise.

About after thirty seconds of hugging, we got ripped apart by strong arms which I recognized as Ethans.
"Who are you?" Ethan sneered pushing his hands to Enzo's chest.
"I-I'm Enzo a-and" I didn't want him to feel scared so I stepped in.
"Ethan calm down. This is Enzo, my new friend." I said softly looking into his eyes and watched them change from aggressive to easy.
"Oh. Well just don't try to take her from me dude." Ethan said a little softer to Enzo, who was cowardly coming out from standing behind my back.
"Don't worry. I-I'm gay." Enzo said making Ethan look shocked.
"Oh shit dude I'm sorry! I just got protective because she's mine or at least she will be:" Ethan said the last part under his breathe.
"It's fine! I'm Enzo, and I'm guessing your Ethan." Enzo squeaked making Ethan nod his head.
"Nice to meet you. I have a twin named Grayson bye the way. I gotta go but I'll see you around Enzo. See you later babygirl." Ethan said pecking my cheek and making his way to his friends.

I giggled and shook my head and grabbed Enzo's classes from his hands. Looks like he has all his classes with me!
"We have all the same classes!" I squealed.
"YASSSS BITCH!" Enzo shouted with his high pithed yet cute voice. I laughed loudly as I shook my head and started walking towards our first class which happened to be chemistry with Mr. Heffner.

It was going to be a good rest of the day with my new friend, soon to be bestfriend Enzo.

Ethan
(At his house with Veronica)

Kelsey's friend, Veronica sat in my plaid covers to my bed.
"Ok so I need help on how asking Kelsey out. I was hoping you could help me plan it since your the only other girl I know that Kelsey's friends with besides Sahar."
Veronica let out a sigh of....relief?
"Of course! I'm assuming you want to know what Kelsey likes?" She questioned.
"Yes please and I was thinking of asking her out on Friday at the football field after the game."
"Ok! Well Kelsey is a sucker for clichés so make sure it small and cute like maybe have a handful of her favorite flowers, black roses and be in your football outfit because that will make her knees go weak! Also, you can have some other players hold up signs that have different letters and when they hold all their signs up, it could make out the sentence "Will you be my girlfriend?" or something cute like that." Veronica gushed.
"Ok that sounds good! How about start planning?" I said happily.
"Yes we shall." And from then started planning out how I'm going to surprise Kelsey.

I hope this all goes as planned.

I laughed as Enzo told me some of his childhood memories and his past boyfriends. I had asked him to come over and hang out so I could get to know him better. I had already had him on every social media and I had out him number in my phone. I learned that Enzo was actually hyper and crazy rather than the shy boy I met at school but he was still cute at times. While he was in the kitchen grabbing a snack, I took my phone and tried texting Ethan again. He had not been answering my texts and I want to know why he asked Veronica to come over.

As I sent the last text, Enzo came back.
"Ok as I was saying....."
