Ben POV

I'm ready, I told myself around 20 times the next morning, as I got ready for school. Today was the first day of Abi and I being 'together'. We discussed how we were going to tell Nat, and everything yesterday. I felt a little better, but I still had butterflies in my stomach. Oh well. I grabbed an apple, said bye to my brother and mom, and left. A long day was ahead of me. I drove to Abi's house to pick her up, before school. She was waiting, with a puppy besides her. When she saw me, she pet the dog once more, and said bye to someone inside before walking over. She had on a purple jacket, with plenty silver and white rhinestones, denim jeans, and white flats. She got in the passenger seat, and said hi. On the way to school, we discussed final points in the plan. I was ready. Let's do this!

I parked in the parking lot, getting out to open the door for Abi. She got out, then we held hands as we walked towards where Nat waits for us. Hake has morning tutoring, so we don't see him til later. I could see Nat's silver lexus coming into the parking lot, and stopping in a spot. As soon as she got out, my heartbeat increased. Damn that girl is fine! She was wearing a white cardigan, a bright blue tank top, and a white denim skirt. In her hair was a white headband, with a blue flower on it. She had white flats on. She was sexy! There was no way someone couldn't think that. She had it all, the looks, personality, all of it." Hey you guys!" she said, once she was close, and gave us each a hug. "Hey Nat! Guess what??" Abi said, very excited. Well, here goes nothing. "What??" Nat replied, just as excited. "Ben and I... Are boyfriend and girlfriend!" she squealed. Nat's facial expression went from happy to confused. "Umm.... You serious?" she said, looking at both of us. I put my arm around her, and replied, "Never been more serious in my life." It was a huge lie, but hopefully Natalie wouldn't know that. She didn't, and she went from confused to shocked. Not jealous like I wanted, but oh well. " Oh.. Well good for both of you then!" She replied. Wait... That's all she's going to say?? Wow.. Maybe she'll say more later, We'll see. We all turned around and walked to class. I had my arm around Abi, which got a lot of stares. Whatever, I'm used to people staring wherever I go. We all got to class, and I gave Abi a kiss on the cheek and went to talk to Mark and Tony, my football buddies. "Hey Ben. You got yourself a hot chick man!" Mark said. "Hells ya," I said. I glanced at Abi, who was in a deep conversation with Nat. Oh, I'm so happy I'm not Abi right now. It didn't look like a pleasant conversation. Poor Abi!

Nat POV

What the hell?? Since when did Abi like Ben?? Since when did Ben like Abi?? So many questions to be answered, but I could ask them once they were apart from each other. Ben, Abi, and I were walking to class. Ben had his arm around Abi, which was a... Different sight. I'll admit it, it was a pretty weird sight. But, if it made them happy, then I could careless. We made it to history, then kissed Abi's cheek and went to hang with his football buddies. I almost dragged Abi to her seat, then sat down in mine. "Ok, what the hell?? Explain everything," I said as soon as I could. "Ok,"she said, and took a deep breath and began," Well after I came home from your house yesterday, he asked if he could come over. I said sure, and within ten minutes he was there. We walked around the lake outside. He then brought out a rose from his bag, and asked me to be his girlfriend. It was sooo cute! So, I said ya." "Oh, that is pretty cute!" I said a little jealous. Not of her and Ben, of how he asked her. "But..." I was about to ask when my voice trailed off. Something very hot came in my view. Gabriel. Damnn he keeps getting hotter. He had on a tight blue shirt, showing off his muscles, and light jeans. Not baggy, or tight, but normal. "Hey. Nat right?" He asked, sitting down behind me. "Yup, I'm Nat. Whats up?" I replied. "Nothing really. Can you show me where C112 is after class, please?" He asked. "Sure, It's on my way to my second period." Abi, Gabriel, and I started having for the rest of class, right until the bell rang. I said bye to Abi ,then walked with Gabriel to his class. "Here it is," I said, once we got there. "Thanks Nat," He said, smiling. His smile is so amazing, I almost passed out. "No prob, I'll see you later," I said, about to leave, when he grabbed my arm. "Wait," he said, then let go of my arm. "This is for you," handing me a note. "Oh, thanx," I said. The warning bell rang, so I went off to class. As I got in, I saw Ben saving my seat. i sat next to him, and said hi. I put my purse on the table, and opened the note.

Hey,

Well, I'm not exactly sure hot to start this off. No one really tells you how to do this, but I'm going to guess just saying it is the best way to go... So here it goes...

Yesterday we were together for exactly 53 minutes. Those 53 minutes were the best minutes of my life. Because during those minutes I was near you. I know, that's kind of sad, but it's true. So I have to ask you a question. Just one, but it's kind of important.. Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?

Gabriel

I wiped away a tear that shed while reading the letter. I was about to reply to the note, when someone behind me said my name. I turned around to see Ben looking over my shoulder. "You read the note?" I said very excitedly. He nodded. I continued, "That was sooo cute! What do you think I should say?" He just shrugged, and turned away. Ok, that was really awkward. But it wasn't going to bring me down. I got out a piece of paper and my purple pen, and started writing my own note.

Gabriel,

Yes! A thousand times yes! A million times yes! You seem pretty amazing too, so why wouldn't I be your girlfriend??? Of course I will!

Nat

I folded the note and wrote,"To Gabriel," On the front. Now, time to figure out what is wrong with Ben. I tapped his shoulder, and asked, "Hey Ben, everything alright?" He shook his head. Uh-oh! "What's wrong?" I asked, very concerned. He said, "Nothing, nothing," but I could tell how much of a lie that was. "Seriously Ben, what happened?" I asked again. He looked very pale as he said, "I don't feel so good." His eyes closed, as his body fell to floor. Oh shit, he passed out.
