Nat's POV

No no no, this isn't happening. As soon as Gabriel said those words,"Hey Nat, what did Abi say to the note?" my heart cracked in two pieces. I made up some shit about her not reading it yet, and just calling to see if he wanted me to tell her something when I gave it to her. He started telling me something, but I didn't listen to him. Instead, I paid attention to my heart break. I knew it, I wasn't good enough for any guy to like, I knew it. Eventually, Gabriel said he had to go, so we said bye, and hung up. I sat down against the wall, and started crying. I couldn't believe my luck. A couple minutes later, I walked towards my room. Abi turned towards me, and her face turned shocked. She rushed towards me, and asked," What did that asshole do to you?" I was depressed when I replied, "Nothing. It's my own fault." She asked, "What do you mean?" I showed her the back side, the side no one read, of the note that ruined my life. She saw it, then gasped. She grabbed me in a tight hug, whispering tiny comfort words. I cried a little, while she was trying to help me. But it barely worked. It was going to take time, and more comfort.

Abi POV

Damn you, Gabriel! Couldn't you see how Nat liked you??? But we couldn't blame anyone exactly. Just ourselves. I had comforted Nat for the past 3 hours, but she wasn't getting any better. I went to the guest bathroom, and called the one person who knows Nat better than I do. "Hello?" Ben said, sounding half asleep. "Ben! Get your butt to Nat's house. She's been crying for the 3 hours non-stop!" I said, as quickly as possible. "Nat's been crying?? Why?" Ben said, suddenly alert. "Gabriel actually asked me out, not her," I said. "Oh shit. I'll be there in a couple of minutes," He said, quickly hanging up. I walked out of the bathroom, and into the kitchen for some water. Trying to stall time, I decided to make some dinner for Nat, since she hasn't eaten for a while. I warmed a microwavable pizza, and put that along with a banana, potato chips, and sprite on a silver tray. I was about to bring it up, when someone rang the doorbell. I looked in the window, and it was Ben. He walked in, and said, "Hey, where's Nat?" "She's upstairs, but wait a sec," I said, dragging him into the kitchen. "What??" He said, probably aggravated. "Bring up the food, and make sure she eats some. She hasn't eaten for who-knows-how-long," I said, handing him the tray, "I'll let you two be alone for a couple of minutes. See you later." He took the tray and left. Dang, he must really love her. I tiptoed to Nat's room, to eavesdrop on their conversation. Yes I know it was wrong, but I couldn't give a care. i saw Ben walk in, and Nat still crying. God this must be heart-breaking for him. Ouchh.

Ben POV

That son of a bitch. Gabriel is going to die. Anyone who makes Nat cry needs to rot in hell. When Abi called, I was so pissed. Gabriel! Ughh Just thinking of him makes me want to beat someone up. I rushed over there when I heard what Abi said. Within ten minutes, I was there. Abi gave me some food to give her, then let me talk to her alone. I took the food then rushed upstairs. I knew Abi was probably go to be listening, but I didn't care. I was going to have to comfort Nat, no matter what it took. I slowly walked into her room, to see a disastorous sight. Nat wss lying down on her bed, sobbing. I went up to her, placing the tray on the floor, and put my hand on her back. She turned around, and I gave her a huge hug. She wrapped her arms around me, and starting sobbing on my shoulder. "There, there, it's okay," I murmurmed quietly. She pulled away, and whispered, "Ben, why are you here?? I mean, you should be resting." Silly Nat. I brushed a hair away from her face and said, "Nat, I couldn't rest if I knew you weren't okay." She smiled slightly, and replied, "Seriously Ben, get some rest. Abi's here to take care of me." Abi came in at the moment and said, "Hey Nat, I'm really sorry, but the babysitter cancelled at last minute. I have to go watch the twins. But Ben's here, so it'll be okay right??" Abi must have been listening to our conversation, there's no other way that would have been so perfectly planned. "Yeah sure, go ahead," Nat said. Abi smiled then walked over to the bed, and gave Nat a hug. Abi whispered something in Nat's ear. It seemed to make Nat a lot happier. Then Abi gave me a hug. I whispered in her ear, "Thanks a ton. And can I tell Nat or should I wait?" Abi gave me a look that said 'do what you think is right.' I hate that look! Abi left the room, leaving Nat and me alone. Nat had stopped crying, which a major upside. I reached over the bed, and picked up the silver tray. "Food?" I offered. She shook her head, but I could tell she was hungry. "Nat..." I said in a serious voice, "Eat...." "No... I'm not hungry.." She tried to lie but I cut her off. "Nat I'm not going to buy that bull shit, so either you eat it yourself, or I'll feed you," I said, completely serious. "I'm not going to eat, so I guess you'll have to feed me," She said, smiling. I shrugged, and said okay. I grabbed a slice of pizza and put it up to her mouth. Thankfully, she opened her mouth, and took a bite. It continued like this until the slice was finished. "Do you think you can finish the rest of the pizza by yourself, or do you need help??" I smirked, playfully. She stuck her tongue out at me, then took another slice of pizza. "Hey Ben, Can I ask you something?" Nat asked, suddenly. "Sure anything," I replied. "Ben...... Do you actually like Abi?? Like enough to go out with her in the future?" She asked, very serious. I gulped, I couldn't lie to her like this. So I asked," Why does it matter?" She said, "Cause......." Her voice trailed off, because the door bell rang. We both got off the bed and opened the door. I growled when I saw who it was. Gabriel.
