"Yes?" Dan asked his wife. "Why did I come home to our daughter crying and saying something about you hurting noah?" "She didn't tell you?" Dan countered. "Tell me what!" Shouted his angry wife. "That bastard left her he left her and I told him if he did I would kill him and I didn't so O would consider him lucky!" He shouted back. Dan stood there looking at his wife both were completely silent. "Im going to kill him" she finally breathed out. "My pore baby" her eyes soften. "I knew this would happen Noah has always been afraid of commitment and that was one of the main reasons I didn't want them together." dan said. Dans wife sat there silent and thinking. (Okay TBH I don't remember if I gave dans wife a name so her new one is Katrina unless y'all tell me what her first one was.)
Meanwhile at noahs

"I messed up I messed up" noah kept repeating to himself. He sat there wallowing in self pity and regret. "What am I gonna do" he sighed.

It had been a month since noah had been around and since then Riley had began to feel better she no locked  herself in her room and cried her eyes out. She had started going on with her life slowly of course. For the most part things were good she did have the occasional laps. She even met a new friend well sort of it was her dads business partners son. They had met just last week at the party her father had hosted. Things were looking up for her. Meanwhile on Noah's side. He went by his normal day to day agenda although there was still the pang in his heart. He hadn't seen her in a month and He missed seeing her, he missed her laugh, he missed her smile, he missed how she felt in his arms. But that was in the past he lost her. He left. He walked into the office with his head down low. Noah had successful managed to avoid dan sure there were business conference but they he hadn't even looked dans way nor talk to him. To get next to dan would be like a death sentence for dan would kill him in a matter of minutes. Walking into his office he closed the door. Throwing his brief case on the chair in front of his desk. Noah sat down in his chair. Closing his eyes for a second. He had a meeting with the CEO of the company some stupid kid was trying to sue them for false advertisement. There was a knock on his door. "Come in" Noah said opening his eyes. In walked jordan one of his friends and colleague. "Hey whats up buddy?" Noah asked with a cheerful smile. "Nothing I was just coming to tell you that me and the wife are hosting a little party and would like you to come" he said happily. "Yeah yeah when?" "Tomorrow at six I know its kinda short notice but just a way to you know kick of the end of summer" "yeah yeah I'll be there" "see yah then" jordan said and walked out. The rest of the day went by slow and stressful for noah.

Meanwhile.
Riley was out with mason. "So tommorow my dad is throwing this end of summer party and I was wondering if you want to um go with me?" Mason asked shyly. "Yeah yeah of course I will go with you" Riley said cheerfully.

The next day. It was time for the cook out Riley was dressed in a white floral color knee length dress. Her hair was pulled back in loose waves and she had just the slightest bit of makeup on all in all she looked stunning. They pulled up to jordan Lockwood's house. As Riley decided to ride with her parents. Pulling up she sat in awe at the loveliness of the lockwood house. Parking the car Riley was the first one to speak. "I'm gonna find mason" she stated Getting out of the car and taking off into the back yard. As soon as she reached it she spotted him. He was in a pair of what shorts and a blue polo shirt. "Mason!" She shouted waving him over. "Riley you made it" he said cheerfully.

Mason and Riley were sitting on the porch swing together laughing about everything and anything that's when she caught a glimpse of him. Her breath cought in her throat unable to make a sound. She stared at the handsome man from across the yard. He looked back her on his lips was a smile well that was until he spotted the man sitting next to her. His smile turned into a thin pursed line. He made his way over to them. "Um I'm gonna go get a drink" Riley said standing up and making her way around the side of the house. Before she could get into the crowd. A hand wrapped around her waist. She let out a small gasp. She was turned around to face noah. "I've missed you" he said with a small smile. "Wish I could say the same" she lied. He frowned "look I know I did everything wrong I-I just got scared and I didn't know what to do. But I am here now and I want to let you know I will be here for you and the baby" Riley's gaze turned into a one of icy rage. "There is no baby!" She hissed at him. His face lightened a tiny bit. "And I dont want or need you in my life" she said. "Please just let me explain." He begged. "No" "let me have a few minutes" he asked. "No" "let me have a second chance." He continued. "No! No! No!" She yelled tears were close to falling out her eyes. "You don't get to sit there and beg and get a second chance you left me in your house. Just because I thought I was pregnant and it ended up being a stomach bug!" Before noah could say another word riley beat him to it. "Now excuse me I have someone waiting for me" "oh what that boy?" Noah said patronizingly. " that boy was there for me when you weren't" she hissed. Noah scoffed. Riley turned to walk away. "I will get you back!" He yelled. "You can't you lost me and I don't give second chances" she said walking away. "I will try and make it up to you until I die" he mumbled under his breath
