"How would you feel about your mom and I adopting a sister for you," your dad asked.
"A sister?!"
"Yeah, would you be okay with a new addition to the family?"
"Yeah! When we get older I can beat up the bullies for her at school!"
"So, I take it that you are excited," your father asked.
"Yes!" You smiled excitedly. "When is she going to be here?"
"In the next couple of weeks."
"I am so excited! How old is she?"
"The same age as you."
"Oh."
"You can still beat up the bullies for her though!"
