Ch. 22: As Much As I Ever

(A/N: Hey guys! Sorry this is almost two weeks later than I wanted it to be *sighs*. Anyway I was updating on my other stories and not having an healthy sleep schedule.

Anyways without further ado...

And danger was certainly near,

I knew there was nothing to fear.

Louis opens the doubled door after seeing Donna pull Avery away to her death. He's heading to his own science class, Physics which he feels is so stupid as well.

When you ask the teacher, Mr. Hubbard, a question, he would always make you feel stupid for asking a question so Louis decides not to do anything in that class but to hang out with his in-class buddies.

Basically the friends that he talks to in that class and only in that class.

He notices a few people are still leaving out of both of the lunch rooms, the Cafeteria and the Commons but the hallway is beginning to empty out because mostly everyone is already in their third periods.

He follows behind the small crowds of students but not heading into the building like they are. No he keeps walking to get a snack from the vending machine; pressing F2 for a Cinnamon Bun, his favorite.

He always has to buy his snacks for his Physics class.

He bends over to pick the snack up out of the black open space of the metallic machine then turning around to head inside of the Science building pulling the door open.

He has this urge to turn around before entering so he keeps the door open, turning around to look at the vending machines.

Zayn runs out of the other building that the students were going into earlier making Louis smile and say, "Hey what's up Zayn?"

Zayn looks up when he hears his name being called and smiles waving his head which surprises Louis because he figured he still would be mad at him from their little fallen out.

"Hey Louis," he smiles walking over to Louis with a few books in his arms clearly letting Louis know that he just came from the library.

"I wonder did he eat in there?" Louis looks down at the books in Zayn's arms to see Lord of the Rings.

"Oh you read those too?" Louis can't help to smile out of excitement because he practically read all of the books in the library and he loves that he can talk to someone about books that they both read.

That's exactly how him and Avery became best mates.

"Yeah! Usually I'm into comics but I don't know, I figured I give it a try," he shrugs going into the Science building with Louis right behind him.

"So I take it you just came from the library?" He nods to Louis' question and they fall into an awkward silence as they both take a left onto another hallway.

"So uh I figured you would still be mad at me about the whole Niall and Avery thing," Zayn shrugs taking a side glance at Louis.

"I never was mad at you but with you, I mean she's your best friend Louis."
