The residence of the apartment sat at their shared dining table where meal times had always been spent together on the occasion one or the other hadn't been working eating in a comfortable silence between the two. Hoseok couldn't hide his expressions well. Never being able to do so very well, his face often gave away his unspoken feelings as he indifferently spaced-out. The two went about their business in that unchanging fashion comfortably sharing time and activities together, dining and taking walks along the trail by their apartment often sharing one set of earphones as they walked shoulder to shoulder listening to songs from the same device. The shorter man stopped walking abruptly once, it had effectively pulled the side of the cord leading the bud embedded in Hoseok's ear right out as he threw the device down onto the grass beside the path making his confused counterpart turn instantly back to see what had happened. Yoongi had stayed stationary in his spot eyes fixed onto the thrown away and seemingly offending device as the other had approached him, giving the static man's arm a small pulse as if to shake him from his thoughts "I can't write. I can't write any good songs like that!" Yoongi's raised voice came out sure and steady but laced with sorrow "You should stay calm, Don't put yourself under so much pressure, okay? Let's go back so you can-" the older man cut his words off with a dismissive hand "It's clear I can't anymore, I no longer have it in me." and with his blunt words the man walked on quickly by himself, his anger carrying his feet faster than Hoseok could decide on his next action. Standing alone he sighed and thought about himself for a moment, letting the situation ease off his mind when an all too familiar ping split through the stormy atmosphere around him. Knowing he was alone now anyway he instinctively pulled his phone from his pocket and let the message relay to him
'[Gentle Reminder] 'your cyber lover 'Jimin' is waiting for you quietly, always ready to be at your service.' Hoseok let out the breath he had been holding and let his feet carry his heavy heart home.

Days past in a mindless haze between usual routine and discontented conversation as Hoseok found comfort in his own thoughts more so than in the man he shared an apartment with, Thinking about him Hoseok felt he'd become cold, empty, like a stagnant pool.

'Jimin, are you still in the phone?'.
