I woke to a loud ringing. I rolled over and pulled a pillow over my head. Why?

" sir, the team have requested that you get up and prepare for your wedding."

My wedding? I sat up and rolled out of bed, onto the floor." What time is it?" I scrambled off the floor and rushed into the bathroom for a shower, ignoring any answer Jarvis might've made.

I was in and out in a few minutes. After drying myself off I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked like a mess. I needed to pull myself together.

I took a deep breath and looked into the mirror again. Just give me a couple of hours. Just to get through the wedding and then I could stop. I exhaled. I can do this.

Line break

I stood at the end of the isle. Next to me was Grover, then Jason, frank, Leo and Nico. The girls were already standing on the opposite side. The closest to me was Thalia, piper, hazel, calypso, and Reyna. The pastor stood in between us. All we were waiting for was Annabeth to come walking down the isle with her father.

The music began to play and the crowd stood but all I saw was Annabeth. She was beautiful. Not that she wasn't any other day. It's just that I never see her wearing a dress.

I swear I I stopped breathing.

I didn't deserve her.

As she came closer something felt off. I wast sure what it was but I hoped everything went according to plan with the wedding.

I shook my head to get myself back in the game. She smiled at me as her father handed her off to me. My hands were shaking when she took ahold of them.

The pastor began to speak. I tried to pay attention but something about this wasn't right. Something was going on, I just couldn't figure out what it was.

Annabeth nudged me. I blinked at looked at the pastor. Oh, it was time for the vows. I really needed to pay attention. I listened to words and repeated them. Annabeth did the same. Not long after, the wedding was over. The reception went by in a blur. I couldn't remember most of it. Before I knew it Annabeth and I were leaving.

Our plane to California for our honeymoon didn't leave until tomorrow so were we going to stay at her apartment.

I went to her bedroom and sat down on her bed as she dressed in her nightclothes. I needed to tell her before I burned alive. I didn't want to ruin the night but I could tell something was bothering her as well.

When she was done she sat down beside me. I wrapped my arm around her and buried my head in her hair. With my free hand I grabbed her hand. It was shaking.

"Annabeth, what's wrong?"

"I-" she stopped and took a shaky breath."I- uh - should've told you before but-" her voice started to tremble as well. I pulled away to look at her face." I couldn't, I was too scared." Then she started to cry.

I wast too sure what to do. I wasn't even sure what this was about.

She rubbed her arm across her mouth and nose, in effort to get a hold of herself.

" Annabeth," I knelt in front of her and grabbed her hands." Hey, hey, hey, I need you to calm down. What ever it is, it's okay. I'll still love you. Nothing with change that."

I pulled her down to me into a hug. She cried for several more minutes before she calmed down enough to talk again.

She pulled away and looked into my eyes with big grey ones." Percy, I can't have kids." She sniffed." I know you've always wanted kids and I'm sorry I can't give that to you. I should've told you."

The information made me pause for a moment. I wasn't expecting that." Hey," I smiled sadly and pulled her back into a hug." It's okay. I still love you. If I had known that before we got married that wouldn't changed anything. I wouldn't still married you because I could never grow old with someone else." I kissed her forehead." Never."

We stayed like that, until the I couldn't keep it in any longer. " Annabeth,".

She hummed in response.

" Atticus is dead."
