daisy-dappled

blades of grass bowed
and curtsied as she swept
down daisy-dappled crops and lacy lilac hills
the mistral and the monsoon wished her
to compose whimsical winds
with her sweet whisky-scented whispers
while the malai moon
liked to braid intricate fishtails
into her liquorice ebon hair
and embroider it delicately
with daisies dripped in dulcet sienna syrups
of ripened mango and ambrosial gold
wherever she tread barefoot upon the grass
emeralds appeared between her toes
and so wherever she went
quarries and a crunching cacophony followed
while the milky moonlight enjoyed
spilling off of the peregrine gemstone verdure
onto her ochre-honeyed skin
in a kaleidoscope myriad
of chartreuse and fir.
