The scene opens up and vincent is standing in a room that looks like the library. He is sitting in a large chair with a book in hand when someone walks in at first he does not notice them until the sit in a chair that is next to his. The person is Adria his sister. When he notices her he sets the book down and looks at her waiting for her to say something.

Adria- Thank you for visiting with me

Vincent (Aden)- It is not a problem, but may I ask why you want to talk with me?

Adria- Well you see I wanted to ask you a few questions

Vincent (Aden)- I see. well ask away.

Adria- Well first, what is it like in the kingdom where you live?

Vincent (adien)- [he smiles at this question and gives a small chuckle] Well it is a bit different from here one being the king is ruler and very strict with his court which is made up of mostly men.

Adria- Men! [she exclaims surprised]

Vincent- ah yes men but there are the select few women but the men do not listen to their input because in the kingdom it is thought that men are superior. It is why a treaty is much needed especially with a new king and queen stepping into power soon.

Adria- I see [she says nothing afterwards and moves on to her next question]

Adria- I feel like I've seen you before [at this Vincent tenses up] have we met?

Vincent- I well no I do not believe we have. Like I said i have visited this kingdom but never have I been near the palace.

Adria- but you are a royal advisor how is it that you have not been in the castle?

Vincent- when I had visited that was before I became who I am today.

Adria- Oh well one more question I was wondering if you have heard of my brother?

Vincent- ( tenses again and takes a moment before coming up with something) I did not know you had a brother... what is his name?

Adria- His name was Vincent, I was so close to him and loved him dearly but then one day he just disappeared and my mother says he was killed or died in his sleep but I cannot believe that is true.

Vincent- I cannot say I have heard of him but there are some people who I could ask, but there is a lot of people and a lot of males with that name I do not think it will be easy to find him.. If he is alive.

Adria looks down upset she is saddened by this news nowhere near where she wanted to be she misses her brother and this conversation only made her believe her mother more.

Adria- well um thank you for your help I will see you later

She gets up and exits before Vincent can say anything to her and he stays where he is. He sighs and picks up the book. It was his favorite and he was surprised it was here he opens it and then closes it again. He stands up tucking the book under his arm and exits the room to wander around in his thoughts and maybe try and find Marcel his brother in law.
