Scene change to a Room with a large desk with two chairs in the room. There is a pot of tea and two tea cups and a set of creamer and sugar sitting on the desk. On one side is the queen her hair is up and in curls and across from her is Aloise.

The two are talking about the treaty and some other topics. Soon the topic of Aden (Vincent) comes up.

Queen- So Aloise how did you meet Aden?

Aloise- well you see...

(She makes a story up on top of her head little did she know Vincent was listening in from a secret room that had a vent into theirs,[the audience can see him but the actresses cannot])

My father has been wanting me to marry for awhile and he wanted to find a man who would be respectful but also a good fighter.

Queen- but he would have scars men shouldn't have such scars.

Aloise- well my father believes the scars are what make a man and it shouldn't matter as long as he loves you.

Queen- I could argue that but please I would like to hear more of your story

Aloise- right well my father had decided to go to one of the academies that are close to our castle and see if there was a boy who would be worthy of my hand. He was walking up to the doors of the academy when he heard two boys fighting, he of course was curious and decided to go see what was going on. Long story short he saw Aiden was defending a few girls who had been scared by another boy who had been throwing rocks at them. Aiden had stepped between them and challenged the boy. My father was impressed with him.

Queen- I suppose even I would be impressed with that.

Aloise- yes well my father thought it was impressive and then decided to train him and groom him to be a king, and so that brings us to where we are now. Although I did not meet him through my father it was in the courtyard when he was going on a walk, we had talked a bit and well we I guess fell in love

Queen- how sweet (said sarcastically)

Aloise- it was and my father was overjoyed when he figured it out.

Queen- I am sure he was. Now we do have time to talk about the peace treaty so perhaps we should talk about it tomorrow. Today is my daughter's birthday after all

Aloise- oh yes, of course. We did bring a present for her it was Aiden's idea to bring a gift.

Queen- wonderful well we are having a ball tonight I am sure Adria would love to see you and Aiden there

Aloise- oh fun well i should go and see how Aiden is holding up, he may have gotten lost wandering around the castle for all i know.

Queen- Yes I must be getting ready for the ball tonight as well. I will see you later

The two get up and walk to the door Aloise following the queen and exits with her both headed in different directions out of the door. Vincent gets up out of his hiding place and leaves to the room he was in.
