Tae's POV
It was 12 in the afternoon. I was feeling very nervous and anxious about who my soulmate would be. I was very happy. I hoped my soulmate would be sweet and kind and beautiful. I hoped that God chose a good 'girl' for me. I was in my apartment with my hyungs, Jin and Yoongi. Jin had already found his soulmate and Yoongi just kept hoping to find his soon. I admired Yoongi, he had waited up to 3 years for his soulmate.
His soulmate was either very young or...........dead. I didn't want to think the worst, after all, everyone deserves a chance at love right?
My parents were coming over to wish me the best of luck if I found my soulmate and comfort me in case I didn't. I drifted off into thought, till Jin spoke making me come back to reality.
"Tae, I have to go now, your parents are almost here and you know if they see me...........well you know"
I nodded lightly
"Bye Jinnie Hyung"
He smiled and left. Why is he leaving, you ask? because my parents are homophobic pricks. Now don't get me wrong, I love them but when it comes to love they just don't understand that you can love someone of the same gender. It is not a crime but to them being gay/lesbian is basically like the Ebola disease, death to all.
It was only me and Yoongi left in the apartment. He was on his phone while I was trying to imagine what my soulmate looks like.
'She might have a nice face, beautiful eyes and the softest lips in the world', I thought smiling to myself. It was silent until Yoongi spoke.
"Imagining the looks of your soulmate again?"
"Yea........i know she's gonna be beautiful"
Yoongi stood up and walked towards me.
"Tae, I know you might not want to hear this but.........what if your soulmate is not a girl?"
I froze in my place. I haven't even thought about that yet. What if my soulmate wasn't a girl? What if it was a boy? I would be dead. actually, I would be killed by my parents. They would disown me. For all, I know when they found out one of my best friends had a soulmate of the same gender, Jin, they told me to stop communicating with that 'Gay Prick' and they also banned him from our house.
But as you can see I love Jin too much to stop communicating with him. Heck, he is like my second mother that understands everything. I drifted into thought trying to get away from the worst thoughts. My soulmate being a boy. I mean I'm straight(A/N- sure Tae, your straight but bendable for the Jungcock. hehehhe).
"Tae!! Tae!!"
"What is it hyung!!"
"I asked you a question!!!!, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR SOULMATE IS A BOY?"
"I don't know, but I hope not, my parents would hate me"
"So you are thinking of what your parents would say huh. Tae, you can't let them control your life. If your soulmate is a boy you would still have me and Jin to comfort you. Hell, if they are that stupid if your soulmate is a boy and disown you, you can live with me"
Oh and Yoongi is filthy rich. He is a music producer and a rapper that will turn on everyone with his tongue technology.
I was almost in tears. Not of sadness but of Joy. I was happy to have such great friends at my side.
"Thank You Hyung"
I said while trying not to break into tears.
"No problem Tae, and if your soulmate is a boy I bet he would make you the happiest man in the world"
I sniffle and thank him again. I love my caring hyung.
"Okay, Tae, let's get you cleaned up and put on your birthday outfit. Your parents would be here any minute with a cake"
I smiled and walked to the restroom to clean up. When I came out my Yoongi had already begun to set the table for my 'Birthday Feast' it was a tradition for my family and friends. I started to feel guilty because Jin wasn't here.
I helped him till a loud doorbell sound rung and a loud voice could be heard.
"TAEHYUNG, EOMMA AND APPA ARE HEREEEEEE"
'This is going to be an interesting night', I thought to myself.
