Chapter 11: Kidnapped
I stood still, staring at the the door that Chase had just rushed out of. I groaned in frustration, he’d just dropped a bomb on me and left with his high and mighty ass, leaving me behind as confused as a mule stranded in a desert. My heart beat echoed through my ears as I thought back to what Chase had said “…there’s no such thing as fairytales’.” What an odd thing to say just before you leave your mate for a few days, weirdo. I mean, what could he possibly have meant by that, I already know that tooth fairies don’t exist…or do they? Nope, seriously doubt it. Damn the complexity of his words.
“Yuuki, are you okay?” Lisa’s voice pulled me away from my thoughts.
“Huh? Uh, yeah…sure.” I replied forcing a smile.
“Good, because that was a bit sudden for my likings'. I don’t even know what that was about.” Her face forming a confused scowl.
“You could always find out from Ace.” I added, hoping she’d get the hint.
“Yeah, I suppose. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see since they’ve blocked their mind links with me. Anyways, about that food….domino's sound good?”
“Sounds perfect.” I grinned, hiding my shock from learning about their mind link. They even had werewolf super powers to link their minds, how surprising…not. Lisa went to order the pizza, leaving me to wonder how I was ever supposed to get used to this sort of lifestyle. A life with werewolves, rouges and hunters. Maybe I should just run away…
Wait…did he hear that? I hope not.

“Wait! So you’re telling me that your mum and dad let you stay in an apartment all by yourself so that they could live a life in luxury? Your parents suck ass! They pretty much sold you!” Lisa yelled, jumping up off the sofa. Suddenly, her eyes darted to stare at mine apologetically “Sorry, I didn’t mean to be offensive.”
I grinned in response “Don’t worry, it’s not like you’re lying and there’s really no point in calling them my parents. They hardly acted like it anyways.”
“Awww, Yuuki!” Lisa said pulling me into a strong bear hug, or should I say wolf hug? Haha, so funny. Okay, I know, I’m a loser.
“Lisa…can’t brea-“ I heaved out.
“Huh?” She said cluelessly, pulling away. She looked at me before she raised her eyebrows “Why are you red?”
I chuckled “Forget it.”
