(This'll be a short one, I apologize in advance)
I met up with Mitsuki and Jinju next to a lake near the edge of town. I walked over and said,
"Sorry that took me so long, My mom grounded me so I had to lie and get out of it".
"Ah, I see, let's keep this short then, I feel like this is a great place for the clubhouse, it's right next to the water, there are woods behind there, and the Village heart is only a few blocks away," Mitsuki said pointing to each as he talked about them.
"I see, but It's not really up to us is it? It's up to Jinju," I said looking at him. Jinju smiled when he realized he would decide where the clubhouse would go. he looked up at me and said,
"I think it should go here, I like the lake, it looks like it could be fun to play in," He said looking at the water, he walked up to the edge and stared at the tiny fish that were in a group moving along the shoreline. Jinju smiled and tried to pick one up, the fish split wherever he stuck his hand, this frustrated Jinju a little bit and he pouted.
"It's okay Jinju," I said walking over to him.
"The fish are crafty, luckily we found a way to get around that, using something called a fishing rod," Mitsuki said walking over next to me.
"Can you teach me how to use it?" Jinju said looking over at Mitsuki.
"maybe some other time," Mitsuki responded, he looked over at me and pointed over at a flat place near the lakeside.
"There's where we should build it," Mitsuki said, he started walking over to it, then I saw Jinju hurry up behind him.
"Do you guys want the clubhouse to be here?" Jinju asked both of us.
"Yeah, we were thinking right here," I said speeding up to walk alongside Jinju.
"I can build it in a minute," Jinju said smiling and stretching a little bit.
"Oh, that's sweet, but Mitsuki and I were thinking we could take this one," I said looking up at Mitsuki.
"No, I think that Jinju should build this one," Mitsuki said looking back at us.
"Okay then," I said smiling. Jinju walked over to the ground, and I saw him make some primitive handsigns that I didn't recognize, then the ground started to move, trees around him started to bend, and the water became turbulent, as the very earth around Jinju bent to his will, he made a building out of the ground and used the tree to reinforce it, as well as give it a log cabin look, the entire ordeal took less than a minute, I was left staring at the building dumbfounded.
"Come on in, let me give you the tour," Jinju said smiling, he took Mitsuki's hand, and then took mine, and walked us inside. the inside of the clubhouse looked like an actual building this time, instead of just a tree that had been shaped. there were still hints of the bending, but they weren't as obvious, the seamlessness of the house that made it feel surreal like it was all a dream.
"So this is the kitchen," He said showing his way around the kitchen, it had all modern appliances, which I found fascinating.
"How did you get all of these electronics?" I asked Jinju.
"I basically made them myself, stored their components underground and then called them over here when I needed them, I do this for a lot of things, preparation is key when building," Jinju said smiling.
"Wow, this is amazing," I said.
"We haven't even gotten to the bathrooms yet," Jinju said smiling and taking my hand again. he led me through the clubhouse, there was a playroom for him, connected to his bedroom, and then next to his room was my room. it ended out looking like the letter L from the outside. Next to my room was the master bathroom. The Dining room was connected to the kitchen, and the Bathroom was next to the mudroom. (for those of you who don't know a mudroom is where you store your shoes and stuff, sometimes laundry machines as well).
"So what do you think of the clubhouse?" Jinju asked me.
"It's amazing," I said looking around in awe.
"Thanks, Papa, I hope you can come and visit every now and then," Jinju said hugging my legs.
"I'll be coming by every day Jinju," I said hugging him back, I couldn't help it, the little guy was growing on me. he was so sweet and innocent, I felt this need to protect him from the world. I walked around one more time and admired Jinju's hard work.
"I have to go now, but I'll be back soon enough," I said to Jinju, I walked over to him and started to hug him. Jinju squeezed me tight and whispered in my ear.
"Please don't go, I'm all alone here, I'm scared".
"Jinju, I have to go, but what if I snuck by and had you sleep in bed with me tonight at my house?" I asked Jinju. his eyes lit up and he nodded and then hugged me again.
"I'll be back soon," I said to Jinju. he was still holding onto me.
"I have to go buddy otherwise I'll get in trouble," I said to him, his grip loosened, and then he let go altogether.
"Bye Jinju!" I said smiling and waving. I saw him waving back from the window in the mudroom. Jinju was a handful, but worth it, I wasn't even hating him calling me papa anymore, although something about him seemed strange, and I needed to get to the bottom of it.
(I Hope you guys and gals enjoy this part, sorry again it's so short, I'm sticking to this daily thing though, I also probably won't get a part out on Thursday, definitely won't get one out on Friday, I have a play to be a part of, so I'll be busy both of those days, sorry in advance{AGAIN UGH})
