Sophia's POV
My body lays limp, lying across my bed. I feel nothing. Absolutely nothing. All the tears have drained from my body, making me unable to shed anymore. My phone suddenly rings and I groggily pick it up and answer.
"Hello?" my voice is still unstable and shaky.
"Sophia? Are you okay?" Jays perky voice has vanished, replaced with seriousness.
"I'm fine." the lie slips through my lips like nothing.
"Tell me what's wrong." he demands.
"I-I...can't t-take it a-anymore." my breathing becomes jagged and I feel light headed.
"I'm coming right now." he hangs up the phone before I can protest.
I get up from the bed, but stumble back a bit, I shouldn't have gotten up so fast. Dizziness overtakes me and I start to see black spots appear over my vision. My body drops to the floor and I feel nothing but numbness.
Jays POV
"Okay guys I'm going!" I yell to my fellow co-workers and they bid me a goodbye.
I walk to my Honda and jump in. Ah, now what should I do. My mind searches through the people I could hang out with. Sophia! I take my phone out and dial her number.
"Hello?" Her voice is unstable and shaky and confusion hits me like a ton of bricks.
"Sophia? Are you okay?" All happiness has gone away from my voice.
"I'm fine." I could totally tell that it's a lie that slips out of her mouth.
"Tell me what's wrong." I demand.
"I-I...can't t-take it a-anymore." Her breathing becomes jagged.
"I'm coming right now." I hang up the phone before she can protest. Worry spreads through my body and I pass the speed limit, not caring.
When I get to her house I knock three times but there is no answer.
"Sophia?" I yell. Still no answer. My hand twists the handle and the door pushes open.
"So stupid." I murmur to myself and rush upstairs.
"Sophia are yo-" my mouth stops moving when I see the sight in front of me.
"Ohmygod." my words jumble up as I bend down to pick her up and set her on her bed.
"Wake up." I shake her shoulder but she still lays there, unconscious.
"Dammit." I grab my phone and dial 911(the police).
"Hello, how may I help you?" a voice says.
"Um hi, I need an ambulance quick because my friend has fainted and won't wake up." I tell her and give her the address.
"Alright Sir, the ambulance will be there shortly." I thank the lady and hang up.
A few minutes later I hear knocking so I pick Sophia up and walk downstairs to the door.
"Here." I put Sophia on the bed and they wheel her inside the ambulance.
"Would you like to come in with her?" the guy asks and I quickly nod.
My thoughts overtake my mind and I think of who might of caused this. The last time I saw her she was happy-wait, she was with a boy. Maybe he was the one who caused this all.
The truck comes to a stop and we all get off. Nurses push Sophia into the emergency room.
"Who are you?" a lady at the front desk asks me, raising an eyebrow.
