Chapter 3

Harry's POV

I wake up to my alarm blasting through my room. I groan as a pull myself out of bed and head to the washroom. When I am finished I pick out some clothes to wear. A simple black shirt and black jeans sounds

good. As I put on my shirt I look over to my window and see Sophia getting ready.

"Hey Sophia!" I yell through the window smirking. She turns around and her cheeks turn bright red.

"What are you looking at perv!" she screams but I know that she isn't serious because seconds later she is on the ground laughing her head off.

After she is done she looks back at me.

"Can we talk later it's kinda awkward talking to you through the window." she states

"Sure, see you in 10." I say then we both close our windows. I sigh. Sophia is a really nice girl, I already know that we are gonna be best friends. I put my stuff in my back pack and run down stairs. My father is at the table drinking coffee.

"Bye Dad, I am going to school." I tell him.

"Alright, have a nice day," he says with no emotion. I ignore it and go outside. When I turn the corner I see Sophia sitting on her porch. She looks nice today.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I ask her.

"Yup." she smiles and gets up.

We start to walk to the bus stop. We wait there for 5 minutes then the bus comes. I let Sophia go on first, then her sister Karen and I go on last. I take a seat beside Sophia and the bus takes off. 30 minuets past by and we are at school. Sophia and I get off the bus and we go to our classrooms.

The teacher begins to talk about the bible but I can't stop myself for staring at Sophia. She is so pretty. Wow. We're did that come from? Oh well. I do my work and its a piece of cake. It's the end of the day so I pack up my stuff and go to the bus. On the bus Sophia is listening to music. I poke her and she looks at me.

"Hey watchya listening to?" I ask her.

"The Fray." she replies. Huh, The Fray. I like that band. The bus stops at our stop and we get off the bus. I walk to Sophia to her house then turn to her.

"See you after school." I wave to her. She says goodbye to me and I go into my house. When I walk in the kitchen I see a note on the counter.

Harry,

Dinner is in the fridge. Went out for dinner with a couple of friends

I am not surprised. He always leaves me alone then comes home at two in the morning. I go up to my room and get changed. Suddenly I hear a ring at the door bell. I run downstairs and open the door. I see Sophia in tears. She comes running towards me and hugs me tight.
