(Fuck a) Sliver Lining

Lexi's POV

I walked into school with my head down and listening to Green Day to block the annoying people around me who didn't know that no one wanted to know who you have sex with last night or how much you have someone since they are dating your ex like be quiet. Another reason why I had my head down was so James and his crew wouldn't see me and start to hate on me this early I've been doing it since this morning when I first woke and and my family started when they saw me waking down the stairs to get a apple. I didn't want to have to hear two voices saying the same thing to me I walked faster to my locker which was next to Ellie a shy girl and went you knew her she would always talk to you. As I'm taking my books out I hear Ellie talking to someone I turn and say bye to Ellie before going to English I was a smart student and the teachers all know and enjoyed my views on topics. I go in the classroom not before seeing James and walking faster before he sat me I look and he didn't 'Thank God' I think as I get my supplies for English ready I'm about to start reading when Mrs.Lee walks in and says could I get something from the printer I didn't know if James was out in the hallway or not ,but agreed none the less. I got up from my seat and took the hallway pass and walked to the hallway as I walked out I saw that James had left 'Ok So far so good' I say to myself I walked to the printer room that had a sign on the outside that read 'Printer Room' 'How original of a sign' I think as I roll my green eyes. I leave the door open as I walk towards the printer Mrs.Lee said to go to and waited for the last of the papers to print when I see a girl walk by I think one of Ellie's friends one of her many ,anyway I turn my attention back to the papers and when finished printing I waited a second or two so I wouldn't have hot ink on my hands I carefully picked up the still warm papers and turned to walk out of the printer room when the same girl I saw earlier tripped and fell I ran over (as fast as a chubby girl with warm paper in her hands could go) and asked the world most dumbest question "Are you ok?" I asked and her head snapped up so fast I was afraid she would get whiplash and stuttered "yes" and got up and looked into my eyes and walked off. Weird and I walked back to class.
