Lexi's POV
As we drive to her house Sami tried to make conversation with me and I made quick quiet answers without making a real answers like what is your favorite elective or favorite colors ,but I didn't want to. As we were pulling the driveway Sami began to smile as she pulled her keys out of the car and open the door and I slowly opened the door slowly to see Sami waiting for me with a small smile.
As we walk into Sami's house that seems to loom over us with intimidation and the sense of care and livelihood, Sami takes out her keys from her pocket and open the door to my thoughts of her house being livelihood to be welcomed with children laughing with a front door area being open and showing you how big the house really was in the inside. Sami holds the door open for me and I slowly walk into the imitating house with my shoulders tense with anxiety and unsure thoughts without realizing Sami had walked from the door and walked behind me placing her warm hand on the small of my back making me jump.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" She tells me with sorrow in her voice.
"It's ok" I quietly mumble back to her getting a small smile as her response Sami walked deeper into the house with me trailing behind her silently as a mouse.
"Leo,Josh and Jo" Sami yells and three pairs of feet are heard coming down the long staircase
