P!nk did not what to be told what to do, and at the age of 15 her mom kicked her out of the house. Alicia was still singing at the Philadelphia night club and while she was singing there she was asked to join an all girl R&B group called Choice. They went and sang for many record companies, while they were singing to someone who was not paying attention Alicia stopped and said "Can you at least act like you're paying attention and not look out the f**king window while we are singing, cause I didn't smoke today". That did not go over that well. Finally L.A. Reid from LaFace Records saw something in the group but especially in Alicia. Choice moved to Atlanta and worked on their album. L.A. Reid told Alicia "go solo or go home", so Alicia made a tough decision and went solo.

Alicia was named P!nk because of her attitude. People said she was like Mr. Pink from a movie. P!nk says all the time "were all pink on the inside, we are all the same people it doesn't matter". P!nk released her first album "Can't Take Me Home" in 2000. That album sold over 2 million records. P!nk also used her first paycheck to buy her dad a gold Rolex.

P!nk had a collaboration with Lil Kim, Mya, and Cristina Aguilera called "Lady Marmalade". Cristina showed up with a label executive, Ron Fair, he did not say hello to anyone he just said "what's the high part, what's the most singing part, Cristina is going to take that". P!nk did not like that so she stood up and she said "Hi, how are you, so nice of you to introduce yourself, I'm Pink, she will not be taking that part I think that's what the f**king meeting is about". P!nk became the ass**** and she knew that she was going to be playing that part a lot.

P!nk didn't like the way her career was going. She said that it was not enough. She wanted to talk about "real stuff" so that then she could become a songwriter. P!nk then found Linda Perry her idol. Linda sat down and started playing the piano, gave P!nk a microphone and said "here tell me how you are feeling". Linda Perry made P!nk feel understood for the first time. That's when they made the song "Family Portrait". That's when her parents knew what she was going through with the whole divorce.

L.A. Reid didn't not like the way that she was going he thought that she was going away from the fan group that she had already made. One of P!nks songs "Don't Let Me Get Me" says "LA told me you'll be a pop star all you have to change is everything you are, tired of being compared to damn Brittney Spears she's so pretty that just ain't me". L.A. Reid said that he is afraid and P!nk is fearless and it should be the other way around. L.A. called P!nk and said "I'm going to give you the opportunity to fail" all P!nk said was "ok".

M!sSundaztood sold over 10 million records. Everyone was tired of everyone being so perfect, they were ready for someone new that was different and didn't care what anyone says like P!nk. P!nk said that her favorite part about the album being so big was being able to say "I told you so to LA".

She then met Carey Hart the day she met him he got in a bad motercross accident. P!nk thought he was dead and turned to her friend and said "god he was cute, remind me to never date a motercross dude". Then met again a couple weeks later and instantly became a couple. She finally felt complete.

Linda Perry started working with other artist and artists like Cristina Aguilera. P!nk was jealous because she didn't like her working with other artists especially the ones that she didn't like. There would not be a "Beautiful" by Cristina Aguilera if there was not P!nks            M!sSundaztood album. Linda Perry said that she did not want to work on the next album already.
