~*KATNISS POV*~
When I walked into Annie's house, my eyes immediately fell upon somebody that I think that's one of Finnick's friends. He has wavy ashy blonde hair that comes just above his forehead. He also has beautiful ocean blue eyes. Man! He's cute! I hear something, but I don't pay any attention to it. It comes more distinct to the point that it's right in my face.
"Earth to Katniss!" Annie was snapping her fingers in front of my face. "Stop staring, Kat! You might be scaring him!" When she says that, all my blood runs up to my face, making a noticable blush appear. I didn't notice I was staring until Annie pointed it out. It kind of looked like he was doing the same thing.
"I believe we haven't introduced you to each other yet," Finnick said. "Katniss, this is Peeta, and Peeta, this is Katniss."
"Hi," we said in unison, causing us to both blush.
It was silence for a few minutes until Finnick broke it. "So that we all know each other, what do you guys want to do today?"
"Maybe we can go bowling," Annie suggested.
"That sounds fun," we all agree.
We stay at the house for a few more minutes talking and then decided to go to the bowling alley. We all hop in my car and headed to the bowling alley. I forgot that I had left the radio on. Weird coincidence, one of my favorite songs was on. I started to sing it. Thank goodness no one was watching, or else it would've been embarrassing.
By the time the song was over, everyone in the car was staring at my with their mouths open making a perfect 'O' shape.
"What?" I asked, wanting to know why they were all staring at me weirdly.
"Good gravy, Kat! I didn't know that you sung that well!" Annie said.
"I don't sing that well," I said. It's true. Everyone says that my singing is really good. But I just think that they're lying to make me feel good.
"Are you kidding me?!" Finnick exclaimed. "Your singing voice is phenomenal!"
"Finnick's right," Peeta says. "You sing really good!" Peeta's comment made me blush real hard. It was a good thing no one saw that, or else that would've been super embarrassing.
A few minutes later, we then arrived at the bowling alley. We walk in and purchase our stuff and then pick out a lane and our balls.
"Watch out, people. Here comes the bowling mastah!" Finnick says, trying to make himself superior to everyone around him.
This statement made us throw our heads back laughing. Annie always told me that he was always doing or saying something to make himself look good.
"Alright, 'bowling master', whoever loses has to buy lunch," Annie suggested.
"Sounds good to me," Finnick says.
We write down our names on a piece of paper that has boxes for our scores next to the name boxes.
I go first with my dark green bowling ball. I concentrate on what's in front of me before making any moves I might regret making. I throw the ball down the center of the lane and make a strike.
"Booyah!" I shout triumphantly and make a victory pose. Even though it's the first game, I can still feel proud of myself. Annie and Peeta are just looking at me laughing their heads off. Finnick, on the other hand, doesn't look that amused. Maybe it's because he thinks that somebody is actually better than him.
Annie goes up next. She hits 8 of the pins, but she acutally hits the last 2 pins on her second try. Peeta and I are the only ones that had gotten strikes. Finnck hits the same amount of balls as Annie did.
By the time the entire game is over, I ended up with 85 points, Peeta ended up with 80 points, Annie ended up with 92 points, and Finnick ended up with 76 points. And he thought that he was the 'bowling master'. I guess he was just trying to make himself superior to everyone around him.
We were all walking out of the bowling alley, talking about how much fun we had. Finnick kept on complaining that he got the lowest score. Everyone kept laughing at him. Poor Fin!
We all agreed that we were going to McDonald's for lunch. It looked like it was the only decent food restaurant that was near us.
We ate our food and then went back to Annie's house and watched a movie. Then, we played a couple of games until Finnick suggested that we play 'Truth or Dare'. Back home, when we played this game, someone was either was humiliated or ended up in the hospital. They never ended well. I hope it doesn't end up like it did back home. In my opinion, this is going to be one interesting night.
