Today, she felt wonderful. She felt like the whole world was lifted off of her shoulders. The scars felt like they were fading away.
He lifted her off the ground, and immediately everything came together. Everything fell into place. Her eyes sparkled, and her face glowed. Today, she loved everything, even herself.
Today, she knew even through the ups and downs, the struggles that life would give her, she knew she would be okay.
Her heart felt like it was going to fly out of her chest; her stomach felt like it was going to leap. The corners of her smile felt tired, but she didn't care.
Today, she didn't care about anything else other than their love. Today, she knew she would be happy for the rest of her life and forever. Today, they were engaged.
