Chapter 5

(Time skip 15 years, I know its a lot, but I have reason.)

Spark's POV

I was in my house in the woods far away from any city because I'm an Ender hybrid. Ender hybrids don't have the best of reputations here in the Overworld, so I try to keep my distance from people. I live in a Little house that has two beds on one side of the house and a double chest at the foot of it. My house has a basement where I practice my spells sometimes and make potions. There's a couch on the opposite side of the house that the bed is on. I have a few windows on each wall and two door on the sides of the house. One leads to the front of my house and the other leads to my garden in the back.

I was getting ready to call it a night when there was a knock at the door. I hesitated for a moment to answer the door before someone yelled, "is there anyone in there?! If not I'm coming in!" I snapped out of my daze and answered the door to see two guys standing before me. One was taller than me by about six or seven inches, tan skin, curly brown hair done in a ponytail. He also wore a black jacket with jeans to match, with a golden pendant that had an amethyst in the center, a white tank top under his jacket, and he wore black sunglasses that hid his eyes.

The other guy stood a little bit shorter, pale skinned, with short brown hair that cover one eye. He wore a white v-neck t-shirt, grey jeans, with black and green headphones. I noticed that he was injured so I let them in. "Go set him on the double bed over there," I told him. "Why are you two out at night while its raining?" I tossed them towels and pulled out my medical kit that I had in my double chest at the foot of the bed. "Where did you get injured?"

"Across my back why?" I motioned for him to rollover onto his stomach. "My name is Ty by the way and my friend over there is Sky." I lifted up his shirt to get a better view of his wound and saw that there was purple ooze seeping from it.

"What did you get attacked by? Do one of you guys remember by chance?" I asked.

"Skeletons, spiders, zombies, and two Endermen," Sky stated. "Why does it matter?"

"Endermen have a poison they release when they attack. Ty has been infected by the poison. I can get it out, but you may not like how I have to do it." I looked at Sky for a moment. "Take Ty into my basement, I have the materials I need to extract it. Otherwise he may not survive the next two hours." Sky took Ty to my basement and I grabbed my spell book from one of my shelves before making my way into the basement.

"How do you know this stuff?" I looked at Ty and shook my head.

"You really don't want to know, I will tell you that I am a Mage." I tied up my shoulder length black hair and walked over to Ty with a sleeping potion I brewed up. "Drink." He took the potion and drank it. Purple rings formed around my wrists and my eyes started to glow purple. The poison in Ty glowed faintly. "It's already in his bloodstream trying to travel to his heart." There was something different about Ty, I just couldn't put my finger on it. "You may want to go upstairs until I'm done."

"I promised Ty a long time ago that I wouldn't ever leave his side like our sister did," Sky stated. I nodded and got to work on extracting the poison from Ty.

(Time skip - one hour)

Sky's POV

Finally after an hour she was done extracting the poison from Ty and all of the poison was in three potion bottles on what I would guess was her work bench. "I will be up in a little bit. I want to set this somewhere so I can try to produce an antidote, because that spell takes a lot out of a Mage regardless of how experienced." I took Ty upstairs and left her in the basement. She looks so familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it. I set Ty on the double bed and sat next to him in a chair.
