"Hide me."
Hera held onto Yuta's jacket as soon as they left the class after the bell rang for lunchtime. She would stick to her twin but that would make everyone talk even more about her nomination for Homecoming.
Yuta chuckled as he kept his arm around her shoulders while trying to so called hide her from everyone else's eyes. "You know this is pointless, right?" He asked, glancing at some people who were actually looking at them. "At least I'm not giving them the satisfaction to actually stare at my face." She replied, her head hung low, almost as if she was hiding behind Yuta's uniform.
As they entered the cafeteria, Hera could clearly hear some girls bad mouthing her as they walked pass their table. However, before Yuta and her could even get to their table, she felt a sudden pull causing both Yuta and her to sit at another's table.
Hera looked up from below to meet eyes with Mark, and his friends. Yuta released his hold around Hera's shoulders only to have Hera locking arms with him instead. Having her seated in one table with the most popular boys would only cause people to talk more about her and she was certainly not going to do this alone.
The girl rounded her eyes at Yuta, as if he knew what was happening when in actual fact he too was confused of why Ten suddenly yanked him to sit with them. "Yuta! How you're doing, man?" Johnny greeted him and the named boy replied with a fist bump.
They also greeted Hera but she could only fake a smile as she was indeed bothered by the people staring at her. The boys started to talk and this time Hera wanted to punch Yuta as they were supposed to leave. She gave his wrist a squeeze and the boy instantly knew she was uncomfortable.
"Sorry, but we gotta go—"
"Oh come on, it's been so long since we eat together." Jaehyun said. Yuta glanced at Hera and they were both telepathing on how to leave. "You boys carry on, I'm just going to—" Hera was already standing to leave but before she could even finish her sentence she stopped middle way when she felt an arm around her shoulders. She could also feel his towering height behind her.
"Sorry, I told them I wanted to sit with you but since you and Yuta are inseparable, I thought why not both?" Yukhei's voice almost surprised her as he spoke from her back. "Oh, you're finally here!" Johnny exclaimed as Yukhei took a seat next to her. He then pulled the chair closer to him and motioned for her to sit.
Looking at him, she was reminded of his confession yesterday. Exactly after he confessed, Hera was saved by her twin which gave her an excuse to escape from responding. However, she couldn't lie that she felt something when he admit to her his feelings. The thing is, Hera wasn't sure if she felt the same for him or if she refused to acknowledge it.
Only then, Hera started processing what he said to her just now. He mentioned about wanting to sit with her, what, are they together now? Every time Yukhei had a new fling, his girlfriend would always join his friends over lunch and just the thought of that made Hera wanted to hide herself even more.
She can't tell for sure if he was being sincere with his feelings but the problem is, he fell for her at the wrong time. The mess she was tangled in right now would only cause suspicion towards people.

It had been the third time Hera rolled her eyes at her twin. Obviously, he was being overdramatic at what happened during lunchtime and the fact that some girls decided to stir rumours on Hera's personal life.
"Fine, go ask Yuta then. He was there." Hera crossed her arms as both of them glanced in Yuta's direction, who was packing his things. "My words mean nothing." He casually backed off from taking sides. Anyone who was friends with the twins knew well that when they quarrelled, they both want to win. It runs in the blood.
Both Jungwoo and Hera rolled their eyes at him and glared at one another again. "These talks are obviously fake, you know me better than that and I am not going to explain myself since there's no explanation needed. What's more important is get my name out of that nomination list!" Hera exclaimed.
"I know it's fake but you are getting closer with that guy and it annoys me very much. And Koeun said Maya was the one who registered the names, it's in the system and it can't be deleted." Jungwoo replied, sticking his tongue out. "Maya?" Hera paused for a while, she knew her, she was her classmate and also a member of the student council. She was also nominated.
"Yeah, so good luck." Jungwoo jokingly patted her shoulder. Hera wanted to ask him something but she decided not to. Her mind back track to what he said before about Yukhei and her getting closer. "What do you have against Yukhei?" She asked. "Nothing, we just never agree on things." Jungwoo replied which this time annoyed her.
"That's all? And you're acting as if he once killed your dog or something." Again, the girl rolled her eyes. "He might not do that, but that doesn't mean his confession for you was sincere by even a word." Jungwoo snapped which caused Hera to slap her palm over his mouth, telling him to keep quiet. Luckily, only the three of them were left in the classroom.
"Yukhei said he liked you?" Yuta, who was quiet through out the whole fight, finally spoke. "Uh, he didn't say it directly but the words are somehow similar?" Hera lifted her shoulders with a nervous grin on her face. She didn't want anyone to know about it, not even Yuta as everyone was going to leave an impression where she was going to be his new fling. She didn't want to be known in that kind of way.
Yuta had his lips pulled in a thin line before saying, "Three years of knowing him, he never confessed to anyone. It's either he's fooling around with you or he's finally opening up." Yuta said but before Hera could reply, her twin beat her to it. "Please, that makes less sense than why cursive writing exists." Jungwoo scoffed and walked ahead of the two.
