Chapter 7 - Just A Walk In The Park?

Y/N POV

The bell that announces the end of the day played. Finally, I could escape from math. I looked around at the other people in the class, there wasn't really anyone I knew in here. Eh, I should head on over to the gate, I don't want to keep the others waiting! I got up from my seat, grabbed my bag and walked out the class.

As I walked, I tried to avoid as many werewolves as possible. I honestly didn't want to start a scene. I tried to hide behind a walking crowd of people, when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I elbowed whoever it was behind me in natural reaction. What did they expect to happen when they just scared me like that? I heard them groan as I turned around, it was a cute, blonde haired guy who I recognised from my math class, I think his name is Garroth?

"I-i'm so sorry! You kinda freaked me out and-" I looked around, everyone was staring. Good job, [Y/N]! You made a scene.

"Eheh, it's okay! Wow, you pack quite a punch! Hahaha" his laugh made my heartbeat quicken, "[Y/N], right? You dropped your phone when you left class, I came after you to return it." Garroth said, handing me my cellphone. "Omi thank you, I'm so sorry! Is there anyway I can make it up to you?" I apologised. "Well, I have to go now but here's my number. I can text you if I need some help!" He said, giving me a piece of paper.

"Good job, [Y/N]. Now you have to do the pretty-boy's homework." I said. I looked at his shocked face. "WAIT I SAID THAT OUTLOUD UHMM.." He burst out laughing. "You're cute! Hahaha, don't worry I won't make you do that, see you around!" He finished before walking off to another boy with blonde hair, except his was slightly darker. H-he called me cute? I felt my face heat up slightly.

I put my phone in my bag, making sure it wasn't going to fall out, and hurried on over to my friends. "[Y/N], what took ya so long?" Dottie asked, with a small smirk imprinted in her expression. "Eheh, it doesn't matter, let's get going!" I said with a smile

Dottie walked beside me as everyone else kind of went abit ahead. "Hey, [Y/N]?" Dottie said, in a slightly whispery tone. "You know earlier when you joined us a little late? Blaze was getting worried that you were attacked by some werewolves and that we should go out looking. Hehe, seems like he cares!" What's that supposed to mean? I tried to ask Dottie what she meant by that, but I was interrupted by Blaze.

"Hey, [Y/N]! I bet you can't race me there" Blaze chuckled. "Oh, you're on." I accepted the challenge, smirking. We got into position, making sure neither one of us was even a millimetre apart, then raced off. I love this feeling, the feeling off the wind rushing through my [H/C] hair, also rushing against my face. I looked over at Blaze, he was slightly ahead of me. I used every strength in my body to get ahead, and I did. Each of us kept on being in front of the other, he was pretty fast! I saw the park not far ahead and looked back, the others were like small dots in the distance, trying to catch up. I focused back on the race once again and took a final sprint, just beating Blaze. "Hah... Hah... T-too slow! Hah.." I spoke in between breaths. Blaze returned with a laugh that followed some heavy breathing too. "You're pretty fast for such a short werewolf." He chuckled.
"Hey! Haha"

Once everyone regrouped, we all went into the park.

"It's already half past three and park closes at 6 so we better go before that so we don't get locked in!" Dottie stated. We all agreed and started to walk down the path that connects everything in the park. There wasn't many people around but it was peaceful. "Hey, who wants to play frisbee?" Rylan called out, grabbing one from his bag; it was one of the school's ones. "Me~!" We all sang in unison while getting into a circle.

After a while of playing, we just hang out for a while and let the time pass. "Anyone want icecream?" Daniel asked, pointing in the direction of a truck just outside the gates of the park. "Do you even have to ask? Let's go!" Dottie yelled, starting to run over to it. "Hey, wait up!" Daniel called, running after her. Rylan began heading over to it too, and I was just about to go there myself when I felt Blaze grab my wrist.

"Huh, Blaze?"

"[Y/N], come with me, I want to show you something." Blaze grinned.

"B-but the others...?" I questioned.

Blaze shook his head as if to say 'nevermind them' and lead me deeper into the park.

"We're almost there, close your eyes," he whispered into my ear. I nodded and closed my eyes. I felt myself being lifted, which startled me slightly and made my [E/C] ears and [T/C] tail perk up. Blaze chuckled, then settled me down on what felt like a tree.

"Okay, open your eyes."

I looked at the view from where Blaze had taken me. It was incredible, the beautiful city in the distance, with it's colourful lights flickering gently stood out like a shadow while the green trees hid it away. You could only just see a flowing river that reflected the glistening sun's face between it all. And best of all, the breathtaking sunset that blended out perfectly across the sky. Amazing.

"Well, what do you think?" Blaze asked, nervous at my silence. "It's incredible..." I gawked, still looking around at the scenery. "Just like you." He soothed. At those words my heart skipped a beat and a shiver went down my spine. I felt my face flush as I turned my head to face his - he was really close. Did he really just say that? My thoughts were interrupted by his lips crashing onto mine. My heart was practically jumping out of my chest, I can't believe this was happening.

??? POV

I made sure I was a good enough distance away for them not to see me. I did what he told me to do, and put my phone back into my bag. "Ein will be very pleased with this."

AAAAaaaAAAAHHHhh XD I'm so sorry for not uploading sooner, I've just had a lot of stuff and yep.
I'm sorry this was like the cringiest episode ever but I have a story going on so like just chill with it for now 😂

I'm going to need a new character for this book who will take the place of a sort of 'rival' for Blaze. Could you guys maybe leave a name down bellow and stuff so yeah (last name too)
