Y/N POV

"Because you're omega.."
"You're omega.."
"Omega.."
The words rang in my head. Omega?! This was crazy. I already had my problems at home! My mother died when I was very young and I haven't seen my father since he went to jail. Honestly, Rylan has always taken care of me ever since all that shit with our parents happened. We had to grow up together and it's been really hard on us.

"But it's okay," Blaze said.

"HOW IS THIS OKAY? I'M GOING TO-" I started to raise my voice but Blaze turned my face to look up at his, causing my cheeks to heat up. "Because i'm gonna protect you. [Y/N] I know I have only just met you and it sounds weird, but I promise I won't let any of them hurt you. And if they do, they're dead." Blaze calmly assured me. I felt my eyes start to water. "T-thank you Blaze.. That really means a lot.." He gently wiped the tears forming in my eyes with his finger. "C'mon, they're waiting for us, we have fourth period."

Time skip to end of the day, brought to you by a SCIENCE! AHAHAHAHAHAA!

I walked out of class with Blaze, it was fun having a whole day with him. Travis was there for art earlier but we were on completely opposite sides of the class. However, Blaze made sure to sit next to me, and scare of any potential werewolves.

I was greeted by Aphmau who looked like she had just ran the whole school, twice.
"[Y-Y/N] Hah.. I-i wanted to hah.. Invite you to hah.. My hah s-sleepover! You too Blaze!" She rushed, catching her breath eventually. "I'd love to, Alpha!" I said, smiling in sympathy at the poor girl who had run possibly everywhere looking for me only for an invitation.

"Wait, when?" Blaze asked.
"I'll text you the deets, then you can forward it to [Y/N],
gotta go now, cya! Also send me her number!" Aphmau said, before quickly running to another group of people.

"Eh, I was gonna give her it anyway." He said, before handing me a sheet of paper with his number on it. Heh, alright. Let's go find Rylan. "Oka-" I said, before I felt a hand cover my mouth. "MMNMNM?" I muffled.
"Not so fast, newbie." A mean voice said.
Blaze turned around. "Jax, let go of her."

"Make me!" 'Jax' said, laughing.

"You don't want that." Blaze said sternly.

Jax scoffed and let me go, I took the opportunity and ran behind Blaze. "Aww, the poor Omega is scared?" Another werewolf said cackling. "Enough Ryder," another voice said: it was.. Ein?

Ein walked over to me, Blaze glaring at him the whole time. "Hi, my name is Ein, I'm the Alpha male. Welcome to our pack," He said, calmly. Why is he being nice? I thought Blaze said that Ein was straight up evil!

"Back off, Ein." Blaze growled, putting his arm in between is.

"What? I don't bite~" He said teasingly, then chuckled.

Blaze growled. "We'll be going now." He spoke, before dragging me away from the three werewolves.
"Blaze?" I asked, looking up at him. His expression was quite threatening, then he noticed me looking and smiled. "It's alright. Let's go and find Rylan and take you home."

A few moments later, we ran into Rylan. "Hey, where were you guys?" He asked.

"We ran into some.. Trouble.." Blaze answered.

"Hmm. Right, anyway let's get going! Dottie and Daniel are waiting for us outside the gate. We actually all live really near each other, so we often walk home together, [Y/N]" Rylan said.

We went over to the front gate, and sure enough there was Dottie and Daniel. They both smiled and waved at us. "Hi guys! Ready to head home?" Dottie asked, smiling.
"Sure" I said, as I took a step forwards.

Time skip to getting home.

We arrived home and waved goodbye to the others. "So, school wasn't that bad, right?" Rylan said, nudging me.

"Yeah, a lot happened.. But i'm glad I made some friends! Thanks so much, Rylan." I replied. "I'm going to go head to bed. It's been a long day and i'm super tired. I'll be back down for food in 30"

I went into my room, and crashed onto my bed, trying to process what had just happened with Ein. Jeez, I didn't think that I would be Omega! And, that Blaze guy.. He seemed really sweet! It was only my first day.. Why did he care so much about my safety? Now that I think about it.. He's really cute.. Wait, what the heck am I saying? Do I LIKE Blaze? NO WAY! It's only been ONE day!

Speaking of Blaze, I should add him to my contacts.

I took out my phone, and added in the phone number he had given me, and sent a text to let him know it was me.

Y/N: Hello, is this Blaze? It's [Y/N]

Blaze: Yeah, hi!

Y/N: Heya! Have you gotten home yet?

Blaze: nah, i'm still with Daniel actually

Blaze sent me a picture of him with Daniel, making me laugh.

Y/N: Haha, cute.

Daniel POV

I looked over at Blaze, he was smiling at his phone. "Who ya texting?" I asked.

"[Y/N]" he replied, not looking up from his phone.

"Exchanged numbers already, huh?" I asked, chuckling under my breath.

"Hah" he said, rolling his eyes at me, then putting away his phone.

Ooookay! I think this is a good place to end the chapter, I want to start the next chapter as soon as possible, because I have a few ideas that wouldn't fit into this chapter, for example that sleepover, which would probably need a whole chapter dedicated to that!
