"Mommy" Rick shouts as he wobbles in his way to be with his mother.

"Got you" Alana grins as she grabs her son who was growing up too fast.

"Mommy where's daddy?" he asks looking around the house making her sigh.

"Daddy will be late; shall we start on our dinner?" she asks as she puts her son on the counter.

"Doggy" he squeals as their pet dog walks inside of the house and Alana smiles staring at the dog, Richie got for Rick's when he turned one few months ago.

"Oh wait" she shouts as Rick tries to jump off the counter.

"Doggy" he whines making her sigh.

"I know, but where is the patience you had when you were little?" she pouts putting his down and Rick grabs his god's leash and starts to walk and the dog happily walks behind him making Alana laughs seeing it.

Her eyes lands on the doorway with a sadness as it was past eight and there was no sign of Richie, as usual he was once again going to miss dinner.

The past few months have been like that, he always had to be somewhere, on some meetings and stay away from the house.

"Would you like some pizza?" Alana asks as she may be an okay mother she was not a good cook.

"Za" Rick squeals making Alana happy.

"Aw that's my son, the love we both have for fast food touches my heart" she smiles as she goes to order.

It's after midnight that Alana wakes up at the sound of someone stumbling in the house, she gets up from the bed making her way out of the room to find a tired and drunk Richie walking inside of the house.

"I see the tables have turned" Alana comments as she watches her husband walk in the house and pulling on his ties.

"Where's Rick?" he asks as his leg step on one of his son's toy.

"Too early for you to remember you have a son who is in bed after asking for his father one too many times"

"I was..."

"In a meeting, which led you to come home drunk"

"I will be in the office" he sighs rubbing his face.

"Of course, because our bedroom door will be locked" she states before walking away from him.

"What?" Richie groans as he feels someone touching him.

"You never argue and that pisses me off even more" Alana groans as she pulls his shoes off before pulling on his socks.

"You kicked me out of the bed" he smiles making her sigh.

"You were the one who refused to be in it at first and anyways don't come home drunk. I am the only parent Ricardo will have who can come home drunk...

He does not need two of us drunk"

"I am sorry, did you wait for me at dinner"

"Nope, we had pizza"
