I scan my school badge to get on the bus and slump down in a seat ; tired of school and everything that surrounds me. I zip open the front part of my backpack and take out my phone and earbuds. I turn on my phone and plug in the earbuds.
I put on my music in Spotify. The song started with a soft string instruments. "The Village" Was the name of the song. I lean my head on the window and close my eyes. I listen to the lyrics of the song. "There's something wrong in the village.....in the village...." The bus doors close as they make a squeaking sound. I get a notification on Instagram. It was a message from Kat, I open the message to see a post. It was Alejandro and he posted a picture of me in the hallways minding my own business. The caption of picture was "lol you slut". I pause the music and see that the post got 204 likes already. Alejandro was the popular kid. It was easy for him. At least I think it is....
