↳ chapter ten:
the fight

Hae sat down at the secluded table, all by herself, eating rice and some soup.Her eyes darted around the room, inspecting every Hwarang.

Most of them were very friendly to each other.She looked over at her brother's table, eavesdropping on their conversation when Soo Hoo sat down.

''Right?We should not be eating and sleeping together ''

Just as Soo Hoo said that Sun Woo sat down in between him and Ji Dwi and started eating.Ban Ryu upon seeing him sit down abruptly let go of his spoon and it clanked against the table.

''How dare you eat at our table? '' Hae rolled her bright eyes at the comment.Suddenly Ban Ryu picked up his bowl with soup and poured the soup all over Sun Woo's rice.

''Peasants eat this way, right? ''

Hae caught Ji Dwi's gaze and glared.He saw the glare and rolled his eyes motioning at Sun Woo and Ban Ryu bickering.Holding back a laugh she picked up her tray and went back to the kitchen.

On the way towards the kitchen, she passed by Hanung's table.

''Did you do it as well?Why?Does it remind you of your brother? '' His roommate teased making the others at the table chuckled.Hae pressed her lip sin thin line.When Hansung's roommates saw her they made yet another comment.

''What is your relationship with the princess? I bet that you are just using her and she is stupid enough to believe you ''

Hansung's eyes widened and he slammed his hands on the table, standing up while glaring at his roommate.

''Don't you dare to talk about her that way.You do not know her like I do.She is smart, caring, kind,compassionate and beautiful inside out. I would never use her ''

Hae's heart melted at his confession and ran after him when he stormed out oft he eating area.She found him seated on the steps by her cabin, with a stick in his hand drawing on the dirt.

Hansung heard footsteps approaching and he lifted his head, the frown on his lips immediately dissolving into a caring smile.

Hae sat down next to him and took a hold of his hand, intertwining their fingers together.The two fit together like a puzzle and Hae rested her head on his shoulder.The silence between them was comforting and both enjoyed each others company.

''Thank you, for defending me in the kitchen ''

''I hope that you know that I would never dream of using you.I really like you'' Hansung admitted, looking down at her. Hae nodded and looked at his beautiful chocolate orbs.

''I know and I really like you too ''

''When is the first lesson? '' Hae inquired, standing up and stretching.Hansung's eyes widened as he quickly stood up.

''Thirty minutes after lunch.I-I have to go '' He pecked her lips before running towards another cabin where the lesson should be held.

Hae giggled and shook her head, looking at his retreating figure before walking into her cabin and picking up her sword.She left to the training center where the dummies were placed.Most of them were untouched and she put her sword aside before picking up a wooden sword.

Twirling the wooden sword in her hand, she advanced at the dummy.Her moves were gracious and quick but strong.The dummy shook from the strength of the hits as she continuously hit it while doing various of gymnastic moves, acting as if the dummy was alive.

Soon she moved onto throwing knives and not realizing, already an hour has passed.Suddenly her ears caught a sound of Master We Hwa yelling.

Curious what is it all about, Hae picked her sword and made her way towards the yard.

There she saw all the Hwarangs looking like they've had a fight.Hae shook her head as Master We Hwa continued yelling at them.

''Aish! What could they have done now? ''Hae wondered out loud.Looking over at their injuries she wondered who caused all this mess.

''Who started this mess? '' We Hwa questioned the Hwarangs.Seeing that none of them answered, he asked once again but with raised tone.
''Who is it?! ''

''It is I'' Hae's head snapped over at Sun Woo who answered.''I started it''

We Hwa took Sun Woo with him to talk and let the other Hwarangs who soon laid on the floor, groaning in pain.

''Guards! '' Hae called and soon two guards appeared by her side.

''How may we assist you, Your Majesty'' One oft he guards asked, bowing to Hae.''Has someone already left to get a doctor? ''

''Yes your Majesty, they should arrive soon with Miss Ah Ro ''

''Alright then.Could you please prepare some of the medical kit for me next to her future room? '' Hae asked while walking around with guards following her.

''We shall do it right away Your Majesty.Would you like anything else?'' Hae shook her head and dismissed them.They bowed and left to get some medical kit for her.
