Morning came and so did the pounding sensation in Zoe's head. She was grateful she reached the weekend, as a hangover on a school day isn't a great thing. She rested her head on her arm as the blurred memories from yesterday rushed in.
"Who walked me home?" Zoe questioned, removing her arm, which had fell asleep, from under her head.
She saw Sasha in her memory, but she clearly knew that she said 'goodbye Aaron' to the person who walked her home. Zoe groaned in frustration as she pulled the covers back over her again.
That same Saturday morning, Sasha was at home doing some extra work to prepare him for an upcoming test. He tried to stay focused but all he could think about was last night and Zoe. She kept coming back into Sasha's mind, and he couldn't do anything about it. But what really got to him was when he was sent home as "Aaron". He wished he could go back to old times. To the times when Sasha and Zoe were still in elementary school. When they were still naive and non-judgmental. To the times when Aaron didn't come in and ruin  everything they ever had.
"I don't think she remembers me."
