"(Y/N)! Come play with us!" The girl's classmates called out. Currently, they were all in the park, enjoying their Saturday together.

She was the new girl, having moved to town a week ago. Her talent was the Ultimate Basketball Player, but that also caused her to be something she really didn't want to be.

Tall.

At her old school, (Y/N) towered over majority of the kids - boys and girls alike. She stood at an impressive six foot three, but she hated being so tall.

Kids were rude, often picking on her and calling her names. "Giant" and "Giraffe" were just a few of the names she had heard being tossed around.

When she was accepted to Hope's Peak, she was elated, glad to have a chance to start over. She hoped her new classmates would be nicer than the ones at her old school.

To avoid being called names at Hope's Peak, (Y/N) had tried to make herself look smaller. Slouching always helped, but then that could lead to her being called a gorilla, like at her old school. All she could do for now was to sit so people wouldn't notice how tall she was.

Her first day at Hope's Peak had gone smoothly considering it was Friday. She didn't really interact much with her classmates, but she thought she had made a good impression.

She had only known the bunch for one day and they already wanted to get to know her more. (Y/N), however, didn't want to make her height seem so obvious, so she took refuge in the shade of a tree. But it was to no avail as her classmates wanted her to come out and play.

"I don't know..." (Y/N) nibbled her bottom lip, avoiding eye contact with her classmates. "Do you really want to play with me?"

A male with the most peculiar pink hair shrugged. Kazuichi Souda...was that his name? The male shrugged, looking around the park.

"We could play basketball if you wanted to," he suggested. "We've got enough people to create two teams."

(Y/N) shook her head in amusement, a small smile on her face. "You do realize your asking to play against the Ultimate Basketball Player, right? That's a death wish. You guys are going to get crushed."

Forgetting about her height for a moment, (Y/N) stood up. She walked over to her classmates, smiling.

They all stared in shock at how tall she was, curious as to why they didn't see it before. She was standing a good foot over majority of her class, only being around the same height as one or two of them. Even then, she was still the tallest in the group.

A busty girl - Akane, was it? - let out a low whistling, looking (Y/N) up and down. "Damn, you're tall!"

Blushing, (Y/N) immediately began slouching. "Yeah, I get that a lot..."

"You're like a giraffe!" A girl with blonde pigtails stated, laughing at her own remark.

"Hiyoko, that's not nice!" A pretty blonde girl scolded.

"Shut up, Pig Barf!"

(Y/N) could feel all eyes on her. She felt weak in the knees, fighting the urge to tremble when she met her classmates' gazes.

"Will you all shut the fuck up?!" A short blonde boy snapped. "She obviously isn't appreciating all the attention! For fuck's sake, can we just play already?!"

"No, no, it's fine!" (Y/N) said nervously, shaking her hands out as if she was trying to stop his idea. "I should...I should probably get home, anyways. My dad's probably wondering where I am."

She turned on her heels, heading towards her car. She ignored the calls of her classmates, continuing to head far away.

One of her classmates scoffed, annoyance obvious in their tone. "Nice job guys. Way to make a good impression."
