Chapter 2- Too Little Too Late

“It’s just too little too late

A little too wrong and I can’t wait

You know all the right things to say

You know it’s just a little too late

You say you dream of my face

But you don’t like me you just like the taste

So be real it doesn’t matter anyway”-Too Little Too Late-Jojo

Today’s the day. The day I see him. The day I confront all my fears.

I sighed as Maya zipped the back of my blue dress up and handed me my black cardigan.

“There. Your hair is fine so we are finished.” She sighed.

“Come one guys let’s go.” Charlie yelled from outside.

“Coming.”

I put my black cardigan on as I walked out. Finn was driving us to the arena so he waited at his car outside.

“Hey Sam,” he smiled opening the passenger door for me.

“Hey.”

“Yeah what a gentleman!” Charlie said sarcastically getting in.

“How long until we get there?” Maya asked.

“15 minutes,” Finn said starting the car.

Oh crap.

We were all sitting in our front row seats waiting for the boys to come out. Well the girls were waiting, I was dreading.

The pre-performance by 5 Seconds of Summer was already finished so it was about time they came out.

Suddenly a wave of screams burst through the other side of the arena. They were signalling the arrival of the biggest boy band on Earth.

The music to ‘Rock Me’ came on as the stage opened up revealing a rising platform with all the members on it.

I didn’t pay attention to any of the others except for that one boy. The one who still has my heart. The one I will wait for until the very end of my days.

Zayn.

Tears started welling up in my eyes. I immediately pushed them back and watched him the whole night.

“Come on! I want to meet them first,” Charlie yelled pulling both mine and Maya’s arm.

We finally arrived at the location where One Direction was meeting the lucky few.

“This is the spot.” Maya said stopping. A large door was blocking our path. Maya knocked on the door a few times before a large black man opened it.

“Passes?” he said.

Charlie quickly opened her bag and handed him the tickets.

After checking them the man let us in.

“Just follow me ladies.”

Maybe this isn’t such a good idea.

“I need to go to the bathroom,” I lied.

“Nice try Sam.” Maya said.

“Yeah we know you.” Continued Charlie.

The man in front of us stopped in front of another door and knocked.
