Rosemary's POV I pulled on the edge of my dress in front of my mirror.
"Five more minutes Rosemary!" My brother Bucky shouts out. I sigh and fix my hair, letting it down and loose.
Grabbing my schoolbag and skipping down the stairs. I saw my Mother and Father talking to Bucky as he waits with his car keys in his hands.
"Finally! Took you forever."
"Hmph. Says the one who applies too much gel for two hours."
"This hair doesn't just do it on its own sis."
"Mhmm."
"Alright you two, enough bickering. You got school. And Rosemary make sure you make the cheer squad."
"Yes Mom, Bucky's Captain."
"While that's true, I can't play favorites. Even Cousin Addison is trying out."
"Kids, you can't be late to your first day of school."
"Yeah Bucky, I can't believe your making us late for the first day of school." ^^^^^^^ I get out of Bucky's car and found Cousin Addison, she saw me and smiles waving over at me. I walk up to her and smile more.
"Hey Addison, haven't seen you since cheer camp." I look behind her and see the Zombies. Bucky gets up in front of one and screams.
"Rosemary, you look beautiful. I love that you grew your hair over the summer, especially at cheer camp. You had such quite the time of taking care of it."
"Yeah, that was hard but I did it, just like I could do anything I wanted to do." Still distracted by seeing the view in front of me and I see two zombie boys and one girl, with a whole lot of them behind them. Bucky heads inside and I try to follow him, can't keep my eyes off what was happening in front of me. These zombies are innocent people, they're still people who had bad luck in fitting in. Nobody wants to do anything unless I would make the change. And those type of changes just don't happen, you need two to make it work. Looking over on my side and realizing how lucky I am but also how I deeply wished to know them, the zombies.
I followed Bucky and Addison, as Bucky and Addison was talking about the zombies.
"Can't let these monsters change this town, cuz. Ew." Bucky signs one autograph photo.
"They're just going to school like us."
"Like us? People love me, ok? I got jazz hands. Those freaks are nothing like us. They tried to eat our grandfather."
"It was just a small bite." Me and Addison said in unions. Really, it was a small bite. Bucky just likes to be over the top and dramatic. Bur again this whole town does that.
"Cheer Tryouts today everybody! Let's Go Mighty Shrimp!" One girl with glasses and a shade of pink outfit comes squealing.
"Go bottom feeders! Wait, you know, 'cause Shrimp. They eat the- the waste of the ocean at the bottom? No?" Bucky and his squad leaves, leaving me to stay with Addison and the Girl, whom seems interesting,"Woo! Go Seabrook!" She turns to me and Addison and we smile at her.
