Alexys POV

So we all split, Ty, Alex, Avery. Elaine and Doom, and Lily and I. Lily volunteered to be with me, which made me pretty embarrassed but whatever, I can get through this. We began walking down the pathway of the trees, looking at the wildlife that seemed not too damaged.. nothing not normal.

"Wow, the trees are so nice right now girl... you doing okay?" Lily asked with genuine concern in her voice.

"I'm doing alright.." I whispered to her, fiddling a little bit with the flare gun, "Hey so... why did you.." I gulped, "Choose to come with me?" She chuckled for a moment.

"Isn't it obvious??" I blushed, "It's because you're the healer!" She winked at me and walked forwards in front of me.

"Oh, okay.." My body shook for a moment, thinking it was nothing... damnit...

We continued to walk on through the forest, as the sun began to dive deeper and deeper down into the abyss. Night was soon to come. I began to walk faster as I was a little bit scared, this forest.. and night.... no can do! I ran a bit too fast and bumped into Lily.

"H-Hey Alexys... calm down?" She said with a slight giggle in her tone as she messed around with her silver flare gun, pretending to shoot someone with it.

"Sorry, it's just... a mixture of emotions are going on right now." I pulled out my golden flare gun, making sure that it was ready to use just in case we found something, "I just... ugh... I'm so nervous about things right now!" Almost yelling, I realize how loud I was talking and quickly clamor back up.

"Do you wanna talk about it? It's getting pretty late... we should just sit down for a bit, we've been walking for hours..." She quickly nudged for me to sit down on the floor next to her, which was surprisingly not that dirty.

"Just... I'm sorry... I'm so stressed out about this stupid demonic things! Why did we have to do this, why couldn't I just be a normal teenager and do stupid shit!" I yelled again. She looked at me, her lip seemed to twitch, almost like.. she was about to cry.

"I know, I understand... we're both in this situatuion.. and... I know it sucks, but.. let's just try and get through it? For me and Doom at least..." She began blushing and swiped her hair off the top of her head. I couldn't blame her, I was blushing too... "Anything else you.. wanna vent about?"

"Y-You.."

"What?"

"I! Um.. F-fu... no wait, I didn't mean it like t-that.." My face flushed bright red, almost like it was illuminating the darkness around us.

"W-what do you want... to vent about me, about?" The way she said that was questionable, but I waited a couple of seconds before answering.

"You.. you're just so.. amazing? Oh god.. I just.. just said that.. oh god.. I... oh my god.. I love you.. I know that's so weird! I'm so weird I'm sorry!" Tears began streaming down my face as I just admitted the biggest secret of all of my life, I didn't even care about what my parents thought, not what my friends thought, I just needed to admit it.

"Well..." She whispered, "I kind of think you're amazing back..." My tears stopped, as I looked into her deep silver eyes and she looked into mine. I leaned into her, both of us still lost in each others eyes.

Flashes of Purple and Orange came careening from the sky, both Doom and Elaine shot their flares... holy...

"W-what's going on?" I exclaimed as I got off of Lily and looked into the sky.

"It's the signal!" She glazed over the two colored spheres in the sky.

"C-can you teleport us to them?" I asked as she concentrated on the two orbs in the sky.

"Hold my hand." Was all she said. I blushed and took her hand. She focused even harder upon the two comet like objects in the sky, and poof! We were in a place.. like no other... with so many different colors and patterns.. it seemed... so weird. Grasping my hand, she looked all around, looking for something in particular spots, and once she found it she quickly jumped through and out we went. Right below the two orbs in the sky.

We were falling.

"OH GOD!" Lily screamed as we were still holding hands and falling downwards really fast. It took us a good couple of seconds for us to fall down to the earth, and when we did, we hit the floor with a slam!

"Oh thank god, you guys are here!" Elaine exclaimed as she helped us up, "What's going on with you guys." She pointed to us still holding hands, which quickly unwraveled.

"Aww leave 'em be Lainy, they're good." Doom giggled. But then the mood turned more serious, as he showed us the left to him.

Bodies.. so many.. all bloody and battered, heads teared off, innards scooped out..
