Draco's POV

I made it to the Shercking Shake shortly after my father showed up. He didn't say much at first; he just passed back and forth. Suddenly, he stopped and turned to face me. His blue eyes were dark grey. He placed his cane down by the side.

"Draco," Lucius said. His voice was low and rough.

"Yes, father?" I replied, my voice was a bit shaky; he never really needed anything for himself, just stuff for The Dark Lord.

"I need to tell you something," Lucius said.

"Well, what is it, Father," I replied. Lucius made his way closer to me.

"Evangeline isn't your real sister," Lucius spat with a smirk creeping over his lips.

"What?" I replied with confusion in my voice.

"You heard correct, son, she isn't. She's Harry Potter's twin sister. She was disguised to look like us. Your mother's doing, I assume," Lucius barked out.

"This can't be; I need to inform Harry of this; he needs to know," I replied. I took a few steps back to see if he wanted to strike me.

"No, he can't know. But I will be telling Evangeline this during winter break. I wanted you to know first," Lucius said in a calm tone of voice.

"Why not tell Harry as well?" I asked, still confused.

"Don't push your luck, Draco. Just Evangeline will know," Lucius replied in a cocky voice. I gave him a nod in agreement; he picked up his cane and headed his way out of the shack. I stood there a bit longer, going through everything that had happened. After some time, I left the cabin, heading back to the castle.

It was late; if I got caught in the halls this late, it would be detention. So I quickly walked through the castle, getting to the dungeons as fast as possible. Before heading into the Slytherin Common Room, I saw Evangeline leaving Potions' classroom.

Her blonde hair hung low on her face; she looked tired; she slowly made her way to me. I stood there, froze, "Draco?" Evangeline said my name sweetly. I pulled myself out of the trance I was just in. "Hey, Evangeline," I replied with a smile.

"What are you doing out here?" Evangeline questioned, tilting her head to the right like a confused puppy.

"Oh, I had something to do. Heading to bed now, actually," I replied quickly, not letting her on.

"Oh, alright, well, I'm tired, so if you could speak the password so we could head to bed, that would be great," Evangeline said in a tired voice, yawing between words. I spoke the password, and the picture swung open. Evangeline headed straight to her room, and I did the same. Tomorrow is a new day.

*END Of POV*

Evangeline woke up the following day, still exhausted from the night before. Severus was working her to the bone during her detentions with him. She crawled out of bed, making her way to the restroom. Evangeline opened the door, practically falling onto the bathroom floor. She hopped into the shower; the hot water relaxed her body; she could stand for a while. She finished her shower, grabbed the towel hanging, dried herself off, and dressed for the day.

Pansy waited for Evangeline to leave the bathroom so she could take a quick shower. As Evangeline finished getting ready, Pansy was out of the bathroom, dressed, and grabbed her bag over her bed. They both headed down to the Common Room to wait for Draco. He showed up not too long after the girls went downstairs. They all headed to The Great Hall for breakfast. Draco was quiet the whole time, barely speaking a word. He would play with his food, pushing it back and forth on his plate.

"Draco," Evangeline called for him. He didn't hear her; he was In his world.

"Draco," Evangeline said one more this time, giving him a light shake.

"Yes," Draco replied, shaking his head, trying to forget his conversion with his father, knowing he had alternative motives for the invention.

"Are you alright?" Evangeline asked sweetly, smiling at him.
