My jaw gave out and dropped, but my mouth remained closed. My stomach even twisted.
"W-what" I stuttered, hoping my dad wouldn't hear me.
"Your dad, my uncle, is a werewolf hunter" he said, almost as shocked as I was.
"Oh come on" I chuckled. "There has to be some people out there who are just too paranoid and think werewolves are going to brake in" "there's a possibility. Want me to come over? We can look a little bit more into it" he suggested, I could imagine him running to his motor bike already.
"That would be great actually." I mean why not. And my dad was just leaving for work. "I'll call you when I'm almost there" he said, "K bye, be safe" "I will, see ya." I hung up.
I got up and took a look at the big backyard, then went back inside. "Hey dad, Scotts coming over in a bit. He just left" I informed him. "OK. Don't go anywhere." I nodded and skipped into the living room to watch some television.
A few minutes later my dad passed by gave me a kiss and said his goodbyes, then went to work. And that's when I started getting nosey. I jumped up and locked the door, then started snooping around.
OK, I hated doing this but I went in my dads room. It smelt like his old spice cologne. I opened drawers but found nothing but nic knacks. An idea suddenly popped in my head, the guns. I ran up the stairs and opened the door, the closet door. I pushed aside the coats and there was a dark metal door which was our weapons room. It required a pass code that only my father and I knew.
I types in 3052 and the metal door cracked open. I closed the closet door and the metal one, and flicked on the bright lights.
"Let's see" I hummed and looked around. I randomly picked up the box of bullets and had a flashback.
I bent down to pick up the large silver bullet, and looked at it. I even read the little words at the bottom, “Wolfs bane, what’s that”. I shrugged and put the bullets in a pocket on the belt.
I tapped my finger on the white counter and thought for a minute. "Where else. There has to be more." Then a bell went off, literally, downstairs. I realized it had been a couple hours since Scott said he was leaving.
I scurried down the stairs, watching my feet to make sure they didn't cross and I trip, then ran to the door. I opened the door and there stood three awkward people. They all had these Squidwart looks on their faces, until one of them smiled.
"Hey Morgan" Stiles said and jolted in to give me a friendly side hug, his dimples sunk deep into his cheeks. "Hey Stiles" I chuckled and gave a hug to Scott next. I awkwardly starred at the other guy. He looked to be only a few years older, and my first impression was man he's hot.
His abs were practically ripping out of his shirt. "I'm Derek. You may remember me from when you tried to slice me to pieces" he said and even wore a smile. I weakly smiled and shook my head. "Weird, I usually remember people who's throats I try to rip out" I mumbled and tapped my chin, he looked at me like I was crazy until I laughed. "Of course I remember you Derek" I laughed and hit his hard bicep. "Whoa" I uttered and tried to squeeze his arm but my hand could barely wrap around half of it.
"OK" Scott said and pulled my arm off, me and Derek both laughed a little.
"Did you find anything" he asked. "Only this" I said and held up a silver bullet. "I smell-" "Wolfsbane" Scott read. "Well, he definitely has a suspicion we know that" Stiles said sticking his head over Scott's shoulder.
"How about we ransack this place" Derek suggested.
"Sure, just don't brake anything. And my dad said I could only have Scott home so if he happens to walk in run to my bathroom upstairs. He never goes in there." "OK. Me and Morgan. Stiles and Derek,OK?" Stiles brought Scott over to the side and whispered "Um can we switch partners dude." Derek chuckled and grabbed Stiles by the shoulder. "Oh come on" he said and pushed Stiles forward.
