I was back here again. However, where 'here' was I had no idea. I guess it was a grave. At least that was what I thought; we never had any graves in Zavta. The council would either burn the dead or transfer them to someplace. All I knew was that whenever a body was transferred, there was heavy security in the city and that it would be in a steel coffin that would be meticulously covered in some yuck-ass slime. Whenever I would try to take a sneak-peek inside the coffin, they would shove me away, mutter a few curses at me and threaten me to never come near the dead body, as it was 'radioactive'.

I wasn't dumb. I knew that people cannot be radioactive. They had to be injecting something into them while they were living. That would most definitely reason out their unexplained deaths. Everyone who were placed in these coffins had died in a very peculiar manner. Like that boy James; he had died while having a fit with himself. It was perfectly normal, if you are a mental patient. The thing is, he wasn't.

My attention was drawn towards the shadowy figure that was slowly making it's way to me. It seemed that it was gently gliding, and at the same time, undergoing excruciating pains as he took his steps. Was it semi-transparent? I looked around to see anyone, anything else. Nothing. All I saw was a glistening crystal clear lake, some willow trees scattered across in a weird pattern, and a cliff with a tiny stream passing that probably fell of the cliff.

I looked at my feet, only to find myself on top of a tomb. Wasn't that like a sin or something? Having committed many already, I didn't want another notch on my belt. I realized that my feet were frozen in solids. I tried to move them, but in vain. I tried several times, but they weren't budging. Damn, I had to stop eating those big macs everyday! Having realized my futility to move my godforsaken big-arse feet, I turned my eyes to the snow-white tomb beneath me.

There was a enormous crack in it, like millions of lightening bolts struck it at the same time. It seemed as if the two broken sides were trying to pull apart, but my feet weren't letting them. Ah, well, I'll just let them be. I suddenly felt cold all over. I looked up; the mysterious figure was a mere five feet away from me. I could clearly see him now. At least a part of him; he was hooded and wearing a cape. He looked suspiciously as the Angel of Death.

I gasped. He looked angelic. His sharp jaw could cut metal, it probably had too. His bow-like lips made me want to drool over him. He had a piercing on the right portion of his lower lip, that looked like an elongated skull.

Get a grip, Quamel Azrael Redge! I mentally slapped myself. I should be panicking, not going head-over-heels over a guy with no visible face except for a drop-dead gorgeous lower face! Besides, the beasts of prey often have the most enthralling of bodies; I hoped I was mentally prepared to smack the heck out of this creature if it so much as lay a finger on my hair.

"Quam?!"

Hey, thats me! But where is she? I don't see Xenelle anywhere.

"Quam, wake up!"

Wait, what? 'Wake up'? I'm not asleep!

"QUAM! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT OFF THE DAMN BED!"

Okay, now it was getting confusing. Really very confusing. Was I falling down? Something wasn't right. Was I awake, asleep or stuck somewhere in the middle?

Everything blanked out. Oh, wait, I had just closed my eyes. Oh well, I didn't feel like opening them anyways.

"At last the ugly sleeping beauty opened her bloodshot eyes! Who kissed you, mi'lady? At least I know I didn't."

"What the fuck, dude!? I was about to see his face!"

Okay, that was a little more offensive than I thought. Xenelle dosent like me swearing. I groaned. I felt bile rising up to my mouth.

Running to the bathroom, I opened the toilet lid and puked my guts out. I could feel Xenelle rubbing my back and holding my hair up.

"I'm fine now."

Without saying a word she let go. I could feel her eyes boring into my back. I got up and turned and looked at her. Her hazel eyes were a mix of concern and irritation. Mumbling a sorry, I walked into my room. Well, in a word, my room was a mess. Clothes strewn on the floor, books scattered around and my black suede blanket on the floor. Not my blankee. I ran to pick it up. Folding it on the desk and gently patting it, I turned around to face Xenelle. I could tell she was amused at this reaction and smiled a little.

"Why, hello, a good morning to you too." Sarcasm was always implied in her words.

Pftt, it was surely a good morning; getting a nightmare that makes you piss in your pants and then spilling your yesterday's precious dinner all into the drain had to be a good start to my awesome day!

"Nah, its a good night. Its a rule to sleep when its a good night."

"Are you kidding me?" She said, rolling her big-ass eyes.

"You're welcome to join me in the bed if you want." I added with my famous flirty half-smile.

She laughed at me at my lame attempts, and pushed me towards the bathroom, chuckling.

"In the bathroom!? Jeez, you are one hungry babe."

"I already took a shower, so no, I'm not joining you. So shut up and get inside!" She was laughing now.

She pushed me in and locked the door behind me. I was still laughing at the dirtiest of lines I had for her.

I stood in the front of the mirror and started to wash my face. I was horrified when l looked at my reflection. My brown hair with the honey blonde highlights were a mess, my face was as pale as a sheet and my eyes were actually bloodshot. It looked like two sharp turquoise blue circles floating in a sea of blood. Ignoring the state of my face, i washed it, changed my clothes for school and got out.

I found Xenelle going through her phone.

"Lets just go, can we?"

Judging from the look she gave me, I knew that she understood. Without saying a word, she got up and we walked out.

"So what was that all about? Why did you swear, and apologize? You never apologize."

Before I could answer, we both saw the same floating figure from my dream just across the street. It was just standing there, observing us like we were lab mice.

"What the hell was that?"

I did not answer. Growling, I simply went after it.
