[PREGNANT AT 14½]

Walking in from band practice I groaned massaging my neck. I was already tired and needed some sleep since I'd been playing the Violin all day. The sad part is it was pretty early still. Walking into the dining room I noticed my mom and siblings. I mumbled a "hey" to make myself be noticed and started warming up my dinner.

"So sis how's band practice been?" Tommy asked walking over and sitting on one of the stools in the kitchen part of the dining room.

I sighed taking my now warm meal out of the microwave. "It's been okay I guess.. Just tiring." I mumbled with a yawn straight after as I began to blow my food to not burn myself and began eating it.

"Riiiight but camp wasn't when you had to practice there right? Oh wait, I remember why now." he snickered as I blushed and glared at him while flustered. I knew what he was referring to, he meant that night. The one night I let myself get drunk, and don't ask how it could happen at camp it just did when the adults weren't around sometimes kids would throw parties and sex and making out would happen and that was how it all happened. Me getting drunk and sleeping with Ricky Underwood himself. The guy I've had a crush on since middle school 6th grade.

And the only reason I even knew it was sex was because of those health classes. If I hadn't gone to them I wouldn't have even known what was happening that night. The good part was not remembering most of it, but seeing Ricky wasn't easy after that because he remembered all of it.

And how my brother found out? He said I accidentally told him in my sleep because of how I sleep talk or sleep walk sometimes. After he found out he wanted to kill Ricky but Ricky lied saying we were both drunk, but I remember he wasn't. So he's lucky I didn't say anything.

"Oh shush, you know I was drunk or it wouldn't have happened at all.." I muttered as he laughed and got off the stool and walked away. "by the way, be ready in the morning or you won't get a ride to school little sister." Tommy warned as I finished my food with a groan.

Waking up late I was fortunate enough that my brother had also woke up late because I actually got that ride to school and didn't have to walk. Which was a good thing in my condition. Why? Well..

-FLASHBACK TO YESTERDAY-

After making sure everyone was asleep at midnight I went to the bathroom quietly and took a small pregnancy box out of my hoodie pocket as I began to open the box and pull the stick out. I read the instructions over three times before I did my business and waited the minutes it said to on the box. I remember when I bought it the disappointed look I received from the lady at the counter. I remember the feeling of wanting to cry and yell at her. It was weird but my emotions were so mixed up.

As I realized it was time to check the test I sang a soft lulliaby to calm myself as I prayed that the test was negative. Because I know Ricky won't help me if I'm pregnant. 

To my dismay, I realized there were two lines. 

I sobbed as I held a hand over my mouth.

Tears started growing as I slowly came to the realization and I started having a panic attack mixed with a break down over the fact I was pregnant and with Ricky Underwood's kid.
