3rd pov

Ryland stood inside the loenly house,he lacked his boyfriend's presence,he missed him so much even tho he just saw him 1 hour ago,relazation hited him like a blinding light that shane will be gone longer than an hour,or a day or a week,even months,the golden retreiver waited patiently,waiting for his other owner to walk in through the door,but he never did,on the other hand cheeto sat licking his paw not caring at all

The sad man walked up the stairs lazily,he was re-living everything again,it wasn't the first time that he had to stay away from his shane,he waited 8months as his lover traveled state to state meeting the people that he cherrised,the people who were with him through the best and worst moments of his life

He smiled at the memories that he shared with him,he collapsed tired on the bed,he wrapped his fingers around the heart shaped locket,he looked down at the picture as his eyes swimmed with tears,he wished with all his might that the following year will pass like a moving train

He waited unpatiently for shane to give him a call,hours and hours passed until he finnaly heard his phone ring

He answeared withouth checking the caller ID,he was just so excited to hear the auburn boy behind the device

"Shane?"he smiled even tho shane couldn't see him

"Ryland,im already here in canada,man its cold i shouldve brought a sweater"they talked and talked for hours until shane had to go,he needed to get some decent rest for tommorow,he was going to begin his first day as director,and he couldn't be more excited but sad knowing that the long year is going to begin

"Goodnight"

They hanged up and ryland was again feeling alone

"I guess its just me and you buddy"he said looking at the beatiful dog that was licking his private parts
