CHAPTER :9 I love my mother

POV : ZUHAIR

I was in a shocked that the whole day she was happy she cooked food she had good conversation with Judy during lunchtime but then why she is strict on her to being not to be converted to Islam

what the big issue is this I am alhumdullilah a MuSlim so do my children then why she want Judy to converted to be a Muslim ?

I cannot talk to her night now as I knew she locked herself in her room she is not going to open it at any cost . I will talk to her later and I went to my room

It 9pm I didn't feel hungry because of the situation but mom has to eat because she has to take her medicines

I went to her room I twisted the knob the door was not locked I knocked the door  and opened it I saw mom was sitting in her bed with the picture of my dad in her hand it seems she cried the whole evening I feel ashamed

'Asalam-o-elikum mom I feel so hungry lets have a dinner" I spoke to her in a hurry as if I really felt hungry "Come to me my child" she called me to her bed I went to her bed and sits next to her

she hold my face in her hands and spoke to me

"I am not against Judy but you know mother has a big hand in up bringing a child lf mother is non Muslim how could she knows how to bring up her child according to Islamic values, did you understand my point"

TI understands but If Judy will agree to be a Muslim then you will marry me with her?" I asked my mom with hope

"yes why not as I told you I am not against Judy" my mom aswwered and kissed my for head

I started feeling again as I am flying high in the air

I have to tell Judy all this I think she will agree to be a Muslim but she was not picking up my phone as I was calling her the whole evening well I will meet her tomorrow

Next day I took a half day from my office and 10 mins before the lunchtime I reached  at  Judy's office with a bouquet in my hand

I was waiting at the reception when Judy came I greeted her and gave her the bouquet and invited her on a lunch at first she didn't agree then I sat on my knees and requested her she laughed and agreed for a lunch

we drove to the restaurant where I already booked a table

she was surprised , as we sat I hold her hand in mine

" I am sorry Judy about yesterday" I asked her in a calm voice her face get stern but she did'nt Speak a word I continues

"my mom intension is not to be harsh with you or she is not rejected you, she only want her daughter in law a Muslim cough even she is converted Muslim, she needs to raise her grandchildren in a Muslim way even she is agree to marry me with you if you accept Islam" I calmly told her everything and hoped that she is understanding my mother's intension

Judy looked at me with a blank face and said ' 'If I will not do so she is not going to accept me and so do you? "

I looked at her with confused expressions

"what do you mean by that" I questioned her

"Listen Zuhair my father had no religion and my mother was catholic when I grewup I study the Christianity then accept that religion and I am a true catholic I cannot convert to Islam only because your mother want ----can't we raise our children  choosing by themself that what they want to be Muslim or catholic " she answered

"But it just not happed in our families my mother never accept this'" I answered her in a worried tone

''what the hell with you Asian mens even you are in deependent and mature but you cannot take a decision without your mom's ---even when you get married You are still man's boy and your wife's suffers " she spoke to me in anger

This made me angry too

"Yes we are proud to be a mama's boy because we respect Our mom's  on what they have done for us--..-respect our mom's love  and effort She has put on our upbringing and yes I love my mom more than you because she alone suffers on my upbringing I told about you to my mom she agreed to make you her daughter in Law because she loves me more than how much I love her" I answered her in anger she stood up and picked up her purse

"then goto your mama and marry with the girl of her choice " she yelled at me and went out

I felt so angry on her what happened If she agreed to be a Muslim

I went to home as I entered  I saw my mom, She was sitting on a couch I said asalam-o-elikum to her and head to my room

She  Saw my face but said nothing she understood what had happened she let me go to my room

she came to my room to ask me for dinner 

"I want to tell you something" I asked my mother

She kissed my forehead and said ' 'don't tell me I knew, so what do you say after that"

"mom I need sometime not so soon "I hold my mother's hand

''ok dear as you wish let's go for a dinner i feel so hungry" She tried to pulled me up

as I went to the dinning room I had mixed feelings I was thinking of mom that how she understating me on the other hand Judy is my love how will I  live without her-----

pov: ZUHAIR 's MOTHER (Safia)

I know my son will be back from Judy as he got married I have to find my friend wh0m I met in Pakistan I liked her daughter as my daughter in law----and spoke to my friend and her husband for their daughter's hand for Zuhair ,I showed them Zuhai's picture and they were agreed to marry their daughter with Zuhair after her graduation and we kept it a secret till Amina's graduation

I have to talk to my sister in law because I met my friend in his son's wedding may be She knew about my friend's new number, which she had given me its not a working number -----

Now a day'sZuhair is so quiet I hadn't seen a smile on his face I felt so bad for him

''If you say so I will talk to Judy and convinced her" 1 spoke to my son

"No not at all mom, she insulted you first she has to say sorry to you" he answered me with anger

"oh dear I was not there at that moment so what kind of insult i will talk to her for you" Itried to calm him

"'no never"he said and went out

I called my sister in law and asked her about my friend she said she will ask her daughter in law and tell me (her daughter in law was not at home at the moment) So I have to wait

I called my sister in law after a week and what a bad news I have to heard that news gave me a shock and I want to go to Pakistan as soon as it is possiblen----     

I told Zuhair about my friend's accident and death and asked him to take a leave for 15 day's take me to my friends' daughter

as soon as he got leave we flew to Pakistan..----

I had a plan in my mind I want to show my friend's daughter to Zuhair as if he likes her I will ask him to marry her .---

I hope this is enough for a day ---hope my reader's liked this chapter
