Many years ago, Mia Rosen lived with her two loving, kind-hearted parents and they sat at a dinner table and shared everything with each other, and Mia, who darted back and forth picking up various skills and talents was nicknamed Busy by her loving parents. Up until the day they died, Mia Rosen never heard someone call her by her real name. From every day after the day, they died she never heard anyone call her Busy again. A realization that hurt Busy almost as much as remembering she would never feel the insane tickle of her father's beard or hear her mother's laugh which consisted of a snort followed by a chuckle.

To be frank though, she hadn't met anyone that she would be comfortable sharing the nickname given to her out of love. That was the thing with nicknames, they were names of endermeant and there were nicknames rooted in evil and rudeness. There was another nickname Busy had that was like that.

"Oh, cake-sniffing orphan!" Carmelita's terribly obnoxious voice rang through the halls, causing Jasper to growl in annoyance. Busy shushed him, and looked up at the girl with a tired look. "Look alive, orphan, you have to follow me!"

"Carmelita, if you don't tell me what you've dragged me down for," Busy muttered, through clenched teeth, following the dressed up orphan. Carmelita looked like a clown, she wore a large pink dress that looked like something Mary Antoinette would think was cute for her dog. "I am going to be seriously annoyed."

"Oh hush, cake-sniffing orphan," Carmelita said, with excitement. "We have new orphans. Since the broom closet belongs to the Quagmires, and the―"

"Hello, cake-sniffers!" Carmelita spat out. Busy looked with intrest at the new orphans, there was something incredibly convenient that three different orphan families arrived at Prufrock at the same time. However, Busy didn't believe in convenience, she believed laziness was at hand and it was the work of Mr. Poe.

A pretty girl with bangs stepped forward, looking confused. "Hello, um―"

"Um" Are you a blithering idiot? Everyone knows I'm Carmelita Spats." Busy rolled her eyes, and set Jasper down at her feet.

"I'm Violet Baudelaire, and these are my siblings Klaus and Sunny."

"I'm Mia, and this is Jasper." Busy grinned noticing the baby stare at her puppy with intrest.

"What does "cake-sniffer" mean?" Klaus asked, confusion taking over his face.

"It means you're stupid cake-sniffers, but I'm the most special girl in the whole school." Carmelita answered, "I'm supposed to give you a tour. This is Vice Principal Nero's office. He's a genius. He likes me best. I don't have to wear a uniform 'cause I'm too adorable. Come on. Come on, cake-sniffers."

They followed the song of Carmelita

"People are looking at us." Klaus said to his sister.

"Probably because we're new." She tried to explain.
