Within a cluster of galaxies hidden from the dark within the dim light three small children flickered. All was silent until the first light spoke.
"My brother and sister, we must hide quickly, but how? We are the only light, we shine too brightly to hide."
The second light spoke more joyfully than the first.
"My sisters listen closely. We are born of light, we will not fail. You must adapt and survive. Find a star, follow it, and hide within its light. We are stronger than we think. Rest until the darkness brings life to us. When life comes, hide further."
The third light sounded scared.
"Brother have you lost your mind? We Cannot hide! It's too late! We may as well be snuffed already."
The first light chimed again.
"And what do you mean by hide Further?"
The second light yelled.
"Forget it! You two are on your own!"
The second light disappeared into the star closest to the center of the cluster of galaxies. The first light looked at her sister and spoke once more.
"We cannot fall apart, not now, not like this!"
The third light responded defeatedly.
"We already have my dear sister."
The third light flickered off into the darkness beyond where she was safe, and faded.
The first light drifted slowly to the same star as her brother and hid away.
