Again

Chapter 2

" Hey I just wanted to let you know that you're parents are out my house ",he said before letting out a small laugh.

" Oh thank you for letting me know..... "

" Daniel, you're new neighbor ", he answered.

" Oh you're the one who moved here yesterday?"

"Yes," he said very firmly as if trying to hold another laugh in.

Then there was an awkward silence that I wanted to end so I asked if he is going to my school. He said it's kinda hard to go to any other school since the closest school other than mine was 100 miles away which is like an hour long drive.

He asked me if I wanted to go over to his house since his parents were hosting a small party to meet people around the neighborhood.

I told him that I wouldn't mind and said I would meet him at his house in a few minutes because obviously, I have to change out of my pajamas.

I felt kinda embarrassed. He had to see me in cow patterned pajamas because he kept staring at me with a small smile.

I wore my dark blue jeans with a loose white shirt. I put my black boots on and a black jacket my older brother bought me before he went to college. I crossed the street and rang the door bell.
