"Excuse me, but some of us are still chained up here, you know?" - I was interrupted by that orange-haired girl. Alya, if I remembered correctly?
I looked at Marinette, who seamed as if she has been doing something she shouldn't have been doing, so she was nervous as hell that she got caught.
She is cute when she is nervous.
Suddenly, we heard steps. Someone was coming down, my mum, I guessed - "Marinette, she's coming!" - that girl, Alya, said quickly, the moment we heareld the steps.
"We'll come back, I promise!" - Marinette told them and looked at me searching for confirmation. I nodded to do just that.
We ran into the cabin that was just one door away and I put my guitar at the door to keep them shut.
But still they were going to open them sooner or later.
We needed a plan.
There was no way we could both get out of there on time. But I didn't care, as long as Marinette got out, it would be ok.
I looked around. There was a window, a bed and not much more in the cabin.
Everything clicked.
I quickly got to Marinette, pulled out a drawer under the bed and whispered her to hide there. I closed the drawer and went to the window. I needed a distraction. She needed a distraction.
I opened it a moment before the door opened.
"Run, Marinette, quick!" - I yelled out of the window, hoping they would bite the bait.
They did.
"Seize him!" - my mum shouted and pointed her sword at me, and then the chains seized me and I was taken back to the big room. But not before I saw her look out of the window and heard her say - "She won't get very far."
Thank goodness. Marinette could now escape.
I was brought back to the large room then and was left where I was left the first time, but now alone.
Others were talking among themselves but I couldn't concentrate on what they were saying, or join the conversation. My mind was occupied with thoughts.
With thoughts about Marinette.
I looked at my hand. The one that she took and didn't let go even when she got up and was standing on her own.
I could still feel her hand in mine.
I wondered what she thought of me. What she thought of my playing. What was the first impression I left on her. I wondered many things... and then I remembered the way she looked at me and wondered if she liked me too.
I mean, it was really easy and pleasant being around her, I haven't felt pressure in any moment. And I think that has really had a big say in me liking her, so I wondered could it be like that with her too, as she also appeared to be calm and not pressured while we were together.
Well... at least if we're not counting out meeting... I laughed at that in my head. Then I thought of how cute she looked in that moment, so nervous and cute, and a wide smile spread across my face.
Then I heard Alya's voice again. Interrupting my thoughts again.
Well...at least now I know who not to be around when I want to think...
But then I processed what se said - "Oh, Ladybug!"
I jerked my head upwards and saw Ladybug use her yo-yo to shatter the chains.
She then came to me and I asked as soon as I could - "Ladybug, is Marinette ok?"
I was so relieved, I couldn't describe it, when I heard her answer - "She's safe, she's the one who alerted me."
Wow. Not only that she got out, but she also alerted Ladybug...! - "That girl's unbelievebly brave..."
I looked upwards in the side, as if she would just suddenly appear there.
Ladybug turned her head and then, after a moment, said - "Lucky charm!"- a chain appeared in her hand - "Huh, another chain? Some wires would've come in more handy... Don't worry, guys, I'll find a way to get you out!"
She then ran out.
And I just stayed. Stayed locked up, thinking about Marinette again.

My mum was normal again. Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated the akuma. I was looking around for Marinette, but I couldn't find her.
She probably hid somewhere during the attack, and just hasn't come back here yet.
But even though I said that to myself, I couldn't help but feel disappointed, disappointed that I had to wait even more to see her again.
Then I saw her. She was running towards us, waving her hand.
And she was looking straight at me.
She soon got surrounded be people, mostly Alya, and the best thing we could do was exchange glances and smile at each other.
And we did just that.
While Alya was hugging her, and she returned the hug, she was looking at me and I smiled to her, and she smiled at me, with a bit of apology in her gaze.
We started to prepare for the performance again, this time Roger approoved the volume so we were free to play. As we were getting everything ready, a blonde boy came to the boat and greeted everyone.
They all seemed to knew him.
He then tripped over one of the boxes that was on the floor, despite Marinette screaming to him to watch out.
He looked at the keyboard in the box he tripped over and revealed he knows how to play it, do I came to him, held my hand out and said - "Welcome to the band, Adrien!" - I heard his name when Marinette shouted it.
"Thanks... amm...?" - but, of course, he didn't know mine. I forgot about that...
"Luka." - I said.
"Thanks, Luka." - he smiled a little.
We then started to play.
"Evening, everyone, our name is The Kitty Section! One, two, three!"
I noticed Marinette watching me, but also watching Adrien.
Then she looked only at me and smiled with that affectionate smile from before. That reassured me again, but didn't erase the thoughts that had already formed in my head.
And so I played with a thousand thoughts in my head.
