chapter 5: help

(Astrid's POV)

I woke up in a dark place.

I try to get up but I'm tied down to a chair.

"help!!" I shout.

my voice echoes through the tunnels.

"well well well look who's awake" I look around and see that the voice is coming from Alvin.

"Alvin? but I thought we were allies now?" I asked clearly confused and surprised.

"let's just say, he betrayed you!" another voice says out of nowhere.

I already knew who it was.

why would he be working with Alvin again? after what happened last time its hard to believe the outcasts would even trust him again.

still, why would they be working with each other?

"we, are holding you here as ransom for hiccup's nightfury" dagur exclaims.

I rolled my eyes. "you already tried to get toothless and it didn't work then and it won't work now! hiccup's not that stupid to fall for your little trick"

"oh but I think he'll do anything to save his girlfriend" he laughed

"I am not his girlfriend!" I defended

"but, he does like you. a little birdy told me you two have a date tonight"

...how did he know that?

"no we don't!" I lied. "and who told you that anyway!?" I demanded

"all we need is to get him our message."

"I already told you HE WONT FALL FOR IT" my voice started to raise

"but he will when he sees this"

he comes toward me with a knife...

what is he gonna do?! I wait for the knife to impale me but nothing happens. all he does is cut a lock of my hair off.

he starts writing a note and attaches my hair with it.

I pray that hiccup won't come...but I know he will...its just something he would do uggghhh why is he so gullible.

(hiccup's POV)

astrid is ripped away from me.

"astrid!!!" I scream.

I run down the tunnel she was dragged into but I can't find her.

I only know one thing to do.

I hop on toothless and fly back to Berk to get help.

I finally arrive at Berk and look for my dad.

he is at the blacksmith with gobber.

"hiccup there you are we've been liking for you! this came" my dad sounds worried as he hands me a note. it reads:

hiccup

we have your little girlfriend

if you ever want to see her again you will bring us your nightfury unconditionally. if you fail to deliver, we will kill astrid in the worst way possible. and you better not bring in your dragon riding gang, because I have a whole fleet surrounding our location, armed and ready to shoot down all of your dragons. bring the night fury to outcast island by sun down tonight or you'll never see her again.
