Nick POV.

I slept at Demi's house that night but got out on the morning..

I went for lunch at Joe's but then left to my house to watch the beginning of the World Cup .. The next day I went to lunch with him at Hugo's Restaurant again and that was where I opened up to my best friend

- I'm lost..

He looked at me confused and then around.. - Huh.. We're in a restaurant having lunch..

- No.. I.. I don't know if I'm still in love with Olivia..

Joe made a "Uuuh.." sound and layed back - Why?

I looked down at my plate.. How can you say to your brother that you're in love with his ex? Sure I dated Delta.. but Demi was very close to us.. she was a sister to him..

- Nick?? Are you there? - he chuckled waving his hand infront of my eyes

- Yeah sorry.. hum.. how can I answer to that.. I'm.. in love with another girl.. no.. I'm in love with another woman..

He leaned on the table and took a sip of his drink

- I'm.. in love with D-Demi..

His exression didn't change.. I expected the worst.. I expected him to punch me or at least to yell..

He just finished his drink

- Cool.. What will you say to Olivia?

I looked at him a little curious.. - It doesn't bug you?

He smiled and leaned foward - Dude, Demi is my past your present and possibily your future.. I love her but were just friends and were cool.. and besides that.. you always had a crush on her..

I blushed a little - No I didn't..

- Yes you had - he laughed taking a bite of his steak - So back to Olivia..

- Well.. we already broke up..

His eyes widened and he frowned - Why? What happened?

- Well.. first.. I felt for Demi and second she lied to me.. she said she was pregnant.. and she wasn't

- What?? Olivia did that?! - he asked incrediously - Wow.. that souds very..

- Don't finish that sentence.. She's still a woman and a human being and you stillhave to respect her

He laughed loudly and I took a bite of my own food - It's funny.. I always thought she wasn't very good.. She reminded me of a particular song

I smiled nervously - What?

- Yeah.. "They live for fame, honey. They laugh at you when you're not even being funny"..

I laughed - Video Girl?? Really Joseph?

- You're gonna say it's a lie?

I shrugged - No..

- Oh and don't forget the "Won a Miss Teen Pageant" line.. that was really a coincidence

I chuckled - Who said that I wasn't a vident?

He laughed - Little bro.. you were a victim of the video girl syndrome.. - he said patting my shoulder

I shook his hand off and laughed sarcastically - I'm Joe and I am soo funny!!

He rolled his eyes and we finished our meals..

On June 14th and June 15th I hit the studio and worked.. June 16th I went to my parents home just to visit them but headed to the studio again after it.. I was walking back to my home and sat in the sofa watching TV when I hear a sound in my phone.. I unclocked it and read the SMS.. I had to laugh..

"I'll be at the Hollywood Bowl!!! I'm better that Jick Nonas now!!! xoxo"

I smiled as I remembered the times where she called me that.. I always laughed and said that I didn't liked it but now.. I actually miss it..

The next day I spent it at home.. I logged in twitter and smiled at the photo infront of me.. Her eyes were beautiful.. She looked so cute and I wished I was there with her.. I smirked when I rolled up and saw a picture of her body in a bikini..

I scrolled a bit more and saw a picture of her in the gym.. she was so beautiful that it hurted.. I sent her a text

"Taking my habits Lovato? That's low.."

I walked to my kitchen and stared at the computer while I watched a video.. minutes later I heard my phone again..

"Gotta be fit Jonas.."

I chuckled and went back to my computer..

June 20th

Demi POV.

Today a year before, my dad died.. I felt a little sad about it.. I kinda feel like I wasn't the perfect daughter to him.. He wasn't the perfect father either but I feel like I should've been more there for him.. I arrived home after a ruff day.. I wanted to cry.. I took a deep breath and my doorbell rang..

I opened the door and saw Nick..

- Hi.. What are you doing here?

He smiled and walked in.. behind him he had roses, chinese and two DVD's - I thought you were needing some company..

I smiled sweetly and close my door.. he knew me so well..

- I'm sorry for your dad Dems..

I took a deep breath.. - I can't believe it's been a year.. - I said sitting with him in the couch

He gave me the flowers and I smiled - They're beautiful.. thank you

He smiled and we ate watching TV.. I loved him for being here.. He was always with me when I needed the most, through the highs and the lows.. since I was 14 which is crazy 'cause now I'm practically 22.. How the years passed..

I felt him kiss my head and rub my arm.. I looked up and realised that it was the best thing I've ever did..

By mistake, we kissed but to me.. it wasn't a mistake
